Perhaps, which raises even more questions why it’s not been added yet
Ah, thank you
Funny part is here some people post some prove that it fake yet none can prove it existence
werent they buffed few months ago? i remember something about that, and lately theyve been working great.
Took them too long to fix that really
Large caliber air launched HEAT munitions were reworked almost a year ago. The AGM-65D has been pretty reliably one hitting stuff ever since.
The biggest buff was adding the AGM-65G which was only beginning of last year
not sure if year but yeah.
have yet to try those.
I’ve barely used them either, but I’ve heard good things
The OP does a pretty good job of raising doubt on the existence of the missile and why it may not exist, the rest of the thread just became a dialectical disaster of fallacies and rage bait from the people abusing it. We just have to wait for a statement from the devs at this point.
for me the issue is having a plane that carries them at all lmao.
Hahaz yeah. I’ve got 2, but neither can saturate a Pantsir enough to kill it. Especially annoying as the Gr7 should have 6 but is artificially limited to 4
So I barely use them
Also nice of you to cut off my statement lol
Not only is this delusional, its off-topic. Stop derailing the thread with lies. If you dont have info to share regarding the Kh-38MT or discussions about its existence, dont bother replying.
Even after the rework AGM65D are still very unreliable. The sheer mass of a maverick hitting a tank alone should one shot it.
this is always utterly useless to the discusion about vehicle and weapon capabilities.
“F-15A would mop the floor with Tu-4”
“nuh uh Tu-4 can win if the F-15A makes mistake and gets close and slow enough for Tu-4 to engage with all of its turrets!”
While technically true, how many and how severe mistakes would F-15A need to do in for such scenario to happen?
Any vehicle can be defeated if one player is better while other makes unending chain of mistakes and any weapon is useless if the opposing player knows how to play against its weaknesess.
in the end, to have any sort of discussion about vehicle and weapon capabilities, it is neccesary to assume that two opposing players are evenly matched in skill because that is the only scenario when vehicles and weapons can be compared against each other based on their capabilities.
just because a WWII derp gun can take out modern MBT frontally if the player playing the WWII derp gun is better and knows where to be and when to engage does not make that match up balanced with regards to vehicle capabilities.
How are they quasi FnF? because you can launch them and hope they hit something while flying on IOG? They are no better than unguided rockets in such scenario.
lol, lmao even.
except KH-38MTs arent only “15% better” than brimstones. and its not even matter of opinion as you try to portray it.
Speed?
Brimstones 450 m/s (or 1.3M) vs. Kh-38MTs 748m/s (or 2.2M).
Range?
Brimstones 15m launch (can be only seen in testflight), no idea about their lock range vs Kh-38MTs 40km launch/20km lock
Both of these dont account for initial alt or speed of the launching plane.
Warhead size?
Brimstones 9.43kg TNT equivalent vs Kh-38Mts 152kg TNT equivalent
Saying that Brimstones are in any way shape or form equall or only “slightly worse” than Kh-38MTs is malicious, if not intentional trolling.
To bring this back on topic.
Did KH-38MT exist?
It looks like exclusively a mock up at this time.
If Gaijin considers the KH-38ML + MT mockup enough for a weapons addition, can we get others of the similar nature, such as ASRAAM + HEAT Warhead A2G version mockup to get the Typhoon added?
If Gaijin doesnt, but decided that an IR Seeker version of the KH-38 was required for “balance” then it raises major questions about what they consider is “balanced”
Why a KH-38 and not a KH-29 to get the IR seeker?
Why wasnt IOG removed from the KH-38MT to make it more balanced?
This thread has reprucusions well beyond whether or not KH-38MT ever existed and what is needed now, in the absence of evidence beyond a shadow of a doubt that KH-38MT was actually test fired is a statement from Gaijin about what comes next.
If it remains, then we need, in clear terms, what are the mininum requirements for any weapon to be added to the game and when we can expect to see KH-38MT level weapons added to the other 8 nations, only AASM really comes close.
Even then. Brimstone bleeds speed fast as its a short burn. KH-38 has a long sustainer motor, so probably maintains that speed for most of its flight. Especially with the ranges its used most often in WT

still no proof of this missile ever existing or being mounted on any sort of aircraft
