Blockquote When this thread was created. The J35XS was 11.3 iirc and saw them all the time. I remember absolutely bullying 3 J35XS in an SB match in the Tornado F3.
You admit they are fodder at BR 11.3 and you’re just advocating to have them back as fodder at higher BR. That’s full nasty, dude.
They were fodder at 11.3 where in a full uptier they could see the strong PD-equipped SARH slingers like the F-4S and F3 and even back then, early ARHs like the F-14 which were 12.3.
But even at 10.7 they would not see the strong PD equipped SARH slingers found at 12.0 and they certainly wouldnt see the F-14 that is now 12.7.
They have now shifted towards being too low, and now many 9.7s, let alone 9.3s struggle to deal with a supersonic aircraft with 6x decent rear-aspect IR missiles
I’ve finally got the time to get back to the game, and thank you for showing me the link to get all the replays, because I looked for it pretty hard and just got the answer that I had to save it myself.
I lost very nice game videos that I’ll be able to retrieve now thanks to you.
So I found back the game were I’ve been killed by a Hornet, but there is a tweak, the guy called himself F-18 Hornet, and was driving a Su-39.
So on one hand, it’s a mistake on my side that I totally assume, on the other, the SU-39 is BR 11.7, that blows up the +1-1 BR rule too, as the J35XS is BR 10.3.
So that little detail finally put aside, I’ll catch up with all the comments.
Already saw some interesting input with the chaff thing that I’ve put aside because I wasn’t supposed to meet SARH from a tuto I saw on Youtube.
Lot of words and no evidence of you in a solo match experiencing that situation.
So far it’s a screenshot of you bringing a tank as part of a lineup of unknown vehicles with 2 unknowns in your squad.
Either way this is about J35XS which is currently correctly BR’d.
Don’t really understand the response to my question, and if you’re just being hyperbole here with this 23ML/15C thing or something, but AB BR’s are more complicated than the RB system where it just goes by highest BR.
I believe there is a whole section on the wiki explaining the formula.
Like for example, if that game you played with the Maus was arcade, and if his lineup was Maus (8.0) along with a 7.3 and 7.0, his overall BR when entering the matchmaker would have been 7.7, making it possible for him to face your 6.7’s. So that’s working as snail has always publicly stated it should.
(Likewise, if your lineup was 6.7/6.0/5.7, you’d be classed as overall 6.3 making it possible for your 6.7 to fight a 5.3).
Damn forum wasn’t letting me reply because I had to wait 6 hours for being a newcomer, lol.
Seems like all mysteries are being solved, also I brought some chaff in the battlefield and apparently that’s what was missing, I get way less killed when I’m high in the sky now.
Giving that plane a decent machine gun wouldn’t be overkill though, in my opinion.
