It still has the large cannoes for pylon 1 with the large GaN antennas. Another thing is that Gaijin does not care which specific model it is, just like for the 39C. If it truly was that early model prototype then it should have no weapons at all. Also I think 6002 was only shown with the new wings like a year so ago but I could be wrong there. But since it is not shown as a specific version it could be any sort of amalgamation of versions just like the 39C so since it has the ability to carry weapons it should also have ESM/ECM/EA.
Well no, if we start going early back that far then we get the Demo which is this, even the earliest 6002 and other Gripens had weapons otherwise FMV wouldn’t have been able to do testing
The planes on the ground or in renders do not count as carying real weapons. Even the 39E delivered to FMV and Flygvapnet do at the moment not have any pylons mounted under the wings.
I’m talking specifically about the other two models alongside 6002, 38-9 and 38-7 iirc both were delivered for testing when the first set of functional Gripens E’s this would be like about the same level as those of the F-39E

What you are however asking for is missiles (both IR and ARH) that are a whole generation ahead of every other missile in game currently (Meteor and IRIS-T). The Gripen is not unique in being the only aircraft in game that can use these missiles. There are platforms for all nations that could use them.
As we have previously said, these types of missiles are not going to be introduced exclusively for one aircraft.

As far as I’m aware Gripens as a whole aren’t offered with them…
What Gripen (and other AESA radars) should get is LPI modes, so the first warning of the impending attack would be 120’s pitbull signature on the 30SM’s RWR. Problem is PESA radars (30SM/30SM2) don’t do LPI, so you can’t really expect GJ to put LPI in game. :D
