Perception and envy has a lot to do with that though, as confirmation bias will make you assume and continue to think that you died to the P2W factor compared to just being caught out.
It’s like the times when people are all hooked up on helis getting them so it has to be a missile, but when you check their replay it was a rocket that got them.
Everything you list is only ground forces related…
There are more people playing air battles than ground battles. To be fair: not by a huge margin, but the aviation part of WT is slightly bigger than the ground part.
So if your list of complaints is true, then WT will not die, since the air battles seem.ok in your opinion. How did you draw the conclusion the game could even die from what you described?
CoD is realistic?? You must be really strong if you can sprint and bunny hop with a M249 SAW, whilst carrying ammunition and a full equipment load.
And I’m sure people using sniper rifles in CQC Search and Destroy modes with high magnification scopes whilst jumping around and doing 360 degree “trickshotz” is true-to-life aswell.
Have you actually played CoD for a reasonable amount of time to make such a judgement?
Here’s the deal, though. When it comes to the mentioned games it’s not perception but an unfortunate reality.
Played one game today that was enough for me, took a hit across the map by mg and disabled me for 25 seconds yet I nailed him with my round and he kept driving like nothing happened to his paper thin armor. Yep still broken.

I’m not going to spend money on a broken game.
I left the game and uninstalled for like 8 Month’s or so because of the lack of balance in Toptier, bugs on vehicles (almost unusable sometimes), recent map changes and the fact that it is way to easy to hop into an air vehicle in top tier matches. I want to play a Groundvehicle and do not want to play an Airvehicle to stay competitive in a Ground based match.
Of course Gajjin doesn’t care about that. I am probably not the audience for them anymore. But this doesn’t affect me in the slightest.
Last time i purchased something with Money was back in February because of the roadmap.
I just quit and peaked back in Oktober to see if it got better but it didn’t so i will let the game uninstalled the next half a year or year until it gets better.
I simply play another game.
Sometimes I left briefly for my wallets sake and played Payday 2 instead. It was very therapeutic robbing banks and making cash through other criminal activities, pretending I do it for my War Thunder Hobby. Awesome music also.
Same here, I’m only checking out the new update and spading the PUMA which has been a real pain as f2p, but I’m honestly just having fun plinking people with PARS in the Tiger UHT. I might check out the game when Germany gets the F18 or Eurofighter eventually.
I have returned to check out WT after 1 + year since I saw the last update will bring back the good old gun sounds which I absolutely love.
But on the other hand… many changes just confirm what I said all the time back in feb 2024… the game is worse and worse.
Why did Gaijin remove so many graphical settings ? I was using TAA HQ and MSAA 2x. My game was looking amazing, crisp, sharp and most important I was moving in between 75 - 120FPS all the time on all maps.
As of today there is only one real AA option for me that is TAA. which is inferior to TAA HQ + MSAA. It was enough for me to make the edges of small objects on map, tanks or even letters on tanks sharp. Without this option the game looks horrible compared even to 2013 standards… The game supports only SSAA 4x apparently which is too much for my PC to handle. Additionally even though the graphics side of WT is a lot worse than it used to, it even runs horrible. On some maps I can reach up to 120 FPS while on others I am dipping to 37 - 45 FPS (eg. Advance to Rhine after rework).
Please Gaijin give us more options in graphical settings, bring back MSAA for your users and optimize the reworked maps because it is at it’s worst…
Please if someone knows how to activate MSAA or something similar without tanking the whole PC I will appreciate any advice.
