For me I get incredible results with the 8.7 - 9.7 helicopters.
Such as the Tzefa, Lahatut, with TOWs or even better, the chinese gazelle with those fantastic 4km range ATGMs. all that against cannon spaa and manpads, that if you play from far you can easily fool them (tzefa the dircm and flares do really work well against thins as iglas).
I would say this br bracket its the best one to play helicopters. At least better than an AH-64 vs saclos spaa/spikes.
Note: 10.3 helis like kiowa or ah6 are also great, hellfires against rolands, pretty good.
Imo, i feel like heli’s should (at the very least) be something worth bringing without ATGM’s. Should it specifically be bum rushing with rockets? Not in the slightest. But with the small maps, Lack of proper gameplay and SP system. Heli’s are basically forced to kamikazi every single time.
So when it comes to making these heli’s not an oppressing force or a wet paper towel. What can we add?
Utility heli’s able to airdrop supplies or infantry? Heli specific capture points out of the ground battle? Decompression
Its very cheap for an aircraft. It shouldnt get ground vehicle-level sp costs.
I really dont need some dude basically spawn camping and killing my maus before i can hardly get out of spawn at the start of a match. Not for something like 50sp and i cant even defend myself.

Avg heli needs 3mins to enter the ground map or 4mins to enter from the side, and 5-6 mins to go from behind.
Fixed wings are being spawned lol.
yk team is a thing and should be a thing. Hard counter is also. Maus balancing difficulty is also.
Maybe also random 50cal dshk or even a mbt cannon. easy shot
