The failure of 9.7 and below helicopters

Although the # of first spawn AAs would rise to deal with it

those cant do anything to you if you keep your distance, type 93 its the threat tho

Days ago started the helis grind and learning how to fly. Maybe I’m just lucky but ATGMs are pretty good.

The only issue is that I cannot control the heli right while guiding and I’m too slow to spot pixel tanks and waste too much time in air.

If skilled I feel like it’s a easy way to get few kills in short time. Need more practice tho

They moved the chinese gazelle to 10.0 its xi-jin-over

Ah yes, the 10.3 overtiered PUMA. Very relevant for the 9.7 Helicopters. Also, you barely got 100 air kills in it. Which includes drones and co.

That’s because it isn’t 16 PUMA vs 16 helicopter bro and yes, anytime helicopter with dumb fire rockets vs the PUMA they always lose. Another thing is this is rb battles that you almost never played, not arcade bro they don’t perform the same in different gamemodes and you have a total of 5 matches in PUMA.

Given they perform like aim9b/aim9g (10-16g) I don’t really see the problem

Even 9.7 already have ATGMs.

pretty sure MUSS will actually spoof TOWS and Shturms

MUSS pretty much doesn’t work in game. Even if you stare directly at a missile it should work at.

Well, they don’t. They have IRCCM, significantly longer range, and are fighting 1940s-50s aircraft.

Range yes but most planes from 1940-1950 couldn’t care less what the irccm is, given they don’t have flares most of the time

So there is no difference of trowing a stinger or r23t
The later would most likely perform better

Well maybe, planes that don’t even get flares, shouldn’t be facing IRCCM missiles.

Stingers should be facing Hunter F.58, Su-25, and A-10A. Not Sabres and B-52s.

Not really, anyone with cracked aim can just hit it with the machine gun and even calibers below .50 will take them down rather quick. This is completely unrealistic. Helis are made to take heavy fire from the ground. They have bullet proof glass and they can even survive multiple hits from 30mm. Unless they are hit in the rotors, which are really one of the few weak spots on a heli. This is not reflected in the game at all.

Agree with this. It’s bullshit that you have to pay so much SP for a heli with no flares or no thermals in the same br where someone can instantly revenge spawn the ozelot or type 93 the size of a pixel on your screen and lock you before you can even know they’re there. Just one of them hiding behind a building completely shuts down the air corridor for the entire match and you may as well just go back to the helipad and J out if you can’t find a useful idiot to bait their attention long enough to get a missile on them.

Again its a 16g missile at most which is well within what the sabers faces in air RB

For the Japanese saber even in a full down tier

Notice how the strela sits at 10.3 that missile has 20g

To me it sounds like you are saying r60m sraam aim9L all fair play in a flare less plane but omg stingers

You could even go further and call r73 aim9M r27et all fair play but omg stingers (because the stinger has a better irccm than the missiles mentioned)

Doesn’t matter.

I’m sure you would be unhappy too if R-60Ms and Aim-9Ls were at 9.3.

mate, do you know what those vehicles are?, all of those have stingers and are arguably better than the type 93.

Hell nah.

Stinger requires only with IR lock, which for helicopters needs 3.5km or closer frontally or 4km but rear aspect.

Meanwhile the Type 93 can get you at more than 4km frontally and rear aspect. Because of the photocontrast seeker I think.

Funny thing about stinger and igla, even if they got a shot on u, you can still flare them, unlike type 1 or strella missiles.
