real life the Aim54c was a 25g missile, if aim54s were 25gs in game(impossible as gaijin doesnt model dual plane) they would be significantly stronger
Yup. But I find it funny that Gaijin can pick and choose how to balance certain things that lack features. Like for example: They added the J-8F and F-16C with Fox-1s even though they couldn’t use them in real life. Why? Because the feature wasn’t in the game yet and it was for balance. So why can’t they add the 25G to the Phoenix until they model it for all missiles? Well, I think we all know why. (Hint: Because they hate the F-14/Phoenix)

I would say them and the community hate the f14 and try to nerf when ever possible
They could add the f14d now combined with proper aim54c+
F14a/b just don’t belong in the 13.0-14.0 Bracket
So all to many buffs and you would just end up with an overtired plane(better aim54c and aim9m which some people have been asking for)
In the 13.0-14.0 Range
you need a Very good plane
A Very good Radar
Very good missiles (r27er)or fox 3
And you need at least decent score on two of These
And the f14a/b Radar Is horrible (range and power are pretty much the only real advantages besides tws)
And flight performance is also pretty abyssal
With the F15 Being 100kmh faster across the Board
Unless rule playing as starfighter above 16000meters and sustained turn fights at very low speed
The flight performance is actually pretty good. At high alts/speed you have better turn than everything except for the overperforming EF, Rafale, and J-10. And you match/slightly overperform the F-15C. For dogfighting you have some of the best rates in the entire game using combat/landing flaps and also a very tight turn radius as well which means you get nose on faster and more frequently.

I dont know wether it even can carry 6 fakour. We do however know it cannot use r27r as its impossible for the f14s radar to guide it.

J-8F came without any radar capable missiles, fielding only 6 PL-8s. It wasn’t until the Seek & Destroy update it received 2 PL-12s and got bumped to 13.0.

Some specific clients (Egypt, Pakistan, Iraq etc.) that received F-16C’s, were not permitted to also acquire the AIM-120. As such were delivered sans MRM capability. Until Egypt payed for the development, and implementation of PD-ILL for the APG-68 and AIM-7 capability & integration to the -16C airframe, subsequently permitting use or optioning, via a software refit and existing support infrastructure and mounting systems.
As such it’s erroneous for the US F-16C to have access to them, but isn’t the first or last time that a US airframe is held to a nebulous configuration / standard, or otherwise contradictory, mutually exclusive or obsolescent / non-contiguous features and stores.

If the aircraft didnt have aim7m it wouldnt change much imo its a terrible missile
