That is odd, the AIM-7F installed impulse is 14400 kgf, to 15000 kgf of R-24R, same for 27R. The 7F should be much worse since most of that is sustain and not boost.
It does indeed belong at 12.3
It’s a budget F-16, that literally sits at the same BR as them. It’s ridiculous…

My point is, F-20 and F-16’s fight 2x R-27ER with 2x Aim7F at 12.7, and a flanker has up to 6 R-27ER and 4xR-73 just 0.3 BR above. That’s what we get with “statistics” balancing.
F-14’s don’t suffer as much in the current meta although its hard to balance them due to compression, for example, F-14B doesn’t really deserve 13.0 but is too strong to be 12.7… I’m going off-topic

It is slightly better overall, and far better up close where it actually matters.
if by “up close” you mean in head-ons less than 5km away, sure.
Saying this, in a game where I can go get 1-2 free phoenix kills pretty consistently at the start of matches… and thats with the AIM-54A and not the Fakour, makes me think you’re just not a good pilot OR you’re one of those people who think every single engagement is played by all-stars with a perfect grasp of aerial gameplay.

So it should be a slightly worse F-16 that sits 0.3br above the F-4J instead? That makes sense! Ask for decompression, not silly BRs.
The only way either of them will hit is if your opponent doesn’t try to defend against them. An AIM-9B is only as lethal as you let it be, same with these missiles.

Same argument can be said for literally any missile in game. They are all extremely avoidable when done correctly yet you are not here telling me the best missiles in the game are useless. You are also extremely underrepresenting the fakour.

I am quite literally one of the most impartial people in this game. My name is a fun jab that ALWAYS seems to get the US crowd fuming. (Probably because its very true, USA playerbase is extremely bad)
While you’re whining about my name, I have the majority of the vehicles in the game for air… full stop… I have also spaded entire minor nations simply for the reason that I want to be informed on their planes.
You’re focusing on one aspect, just because it can hit long range shots doesn’t make it the end all be all. The AIM-7E-2s are significantly more versatile, especially for the rest of the game outside of a 2 minute window where Fakours shine.
