The f16aj has been the most fun 12.7 ive played so far, and this is after spading and loving the mirage 2000. It just so good, it has 2 bvr missiles while being able to dog fight gripens and other such jets. The only thing your struggle against are other f16a’s.
Countermeasures is the only thing you could complain aout on it but 15 large flares and 20 chaff is all ive needed so far.
AJ isn’t gonna break 12.3, the F/A-18A already sits at 12.0 with basically the same 2 sparrow + sidewinder loadout and it flies the same. Mirage 2000-S5 is at 12.3 If those two aren’t causing meltdowns at that BR a 2-sparrow F-16 isn’t gonna either.
also, japan’s one of the deadest trees in the game, nobody’s grinding it. even if the AJ was a tiny bit strong at 12.3 you’re not gonna see it every match like you would some undertiered US/Russian jet
also worried about it being “undertiered” at 12.3 when it’s already overtiered at 12.7
It would be a contender for top 2 jets as soon as it lands with the F-18A being the only thing that really presents as another option. The M2K is 3rd. This puts even more pressure on 11.3-12.0 and further ruins that already strained BR range.
12.3. F-18A is also undertiered/overpowered and gets 4/2 sparrow/sidewinder loadout not 2.
No it doesn’t. F-16 has a far better FM.
Even if you don’t think this would cause “meltdowns” the issue is you are advocating for creating compression as a “fix” for compression.
You smoking straight crack, i will not stand for this f-2a and aj slander. These two jets have given me more fun than any other jets ive flown. They are straight crack, love every second of playing them apart from stock with no chaff.
Try flying high and not on the deck for once, learn to properly notch arh/sarh missiles and youll come to see how good they are.
I guess the F-18s need a BR reduction then :P
