The difference between the Eurofighter and the Rafale is simply abysmal

6 Meteors and 4 ASRAAMS usually enough to get the job done

Nobody said that, you’re the one putting words in peoples mouths.

The flanker and fulcrum are both underperforming by a ton in war thunder. Nobody said they should be able to “outdogfight” a typhoon, however they should stand a match against something like an f16, because they literally were designed to, and the manuals support this.

Calm down furry.

Pilot testimony should absolutely be used, its what got the J-10 a huge drag nerf after all.

@LeeyLeey
At no point did I ever claim he said anything. I challenged his statement with my own.

Su-27s are not underperforming at all in WT anymore. Mig-29s are not under-performing to our knowledge.
Also Su-27s do out-dogfight F-16s in War Thunder currently.

It’s okay that you’re a furry BTW.

Su-27SM is running over 20 degrees per second sustained.
Which is pretty much a Rafale right now.

How do you think is Russian mains have felt for the last year or more?

Both on the dassaut website and on dassaut’s twitter it has already been said that the rafale’s hardpoints are completely modular, that it can carry ANY weapons on them, with 5 of these hp being able to carry heavy weapons and drop tanks, there is no structural or structural restrictions. software that restricts the Rafale to 6 missiles, even the Rafale A prototype carried missiles in the fuselage.
At this year’s Euronaval (2024) a model of the Rafale M was shown carrying an insane loadout of missiles.
The Rafale F3’s on-board computer shows 14 dots in the armament swit.

Gaijin simply ignores all the evidence that has already been shown (that is not convidential or militaryleaks )… devs/moderators refuse all accumulated material that a “civilian can access”.
This type of stance on the part of the company even encourages leaks.

8 micas or 6 micas+2magic won’t break the game, this loadout already exists in the game, In the future we may even see 10 to 12 missiles in the latest Rafale model, but currently we are only asking for 8 A2A missiles.
The plane doesn’t have a SPECTRA system as it should be, it doesn’t have a functional AESA radar, it doesn’t have smart countermeasures, and I understand why this isn’t coming into the game now, but 8 missiles, being micas, which is a missile of extremely limited range and outside the meta, it is a matter of necessity for rafale.
The AESA radar and the 8 missiles should be on this plane by now…This would make the plane more competitive in relation to the EF.

Ironically both the Typhoon and Rafale are underperforming at the moment.

People are too focused on the weaponry loadouts that Gaijin yet again are using as balancing devices. A properly modelled Typhoon and/or Rafale with it’s full theoretical missile loadout would be too much.

It would actually be fantastic, but at the moment it would be very broken, but the Rafale needs 8 missiles

You know what? you’re right.

We got the F-15E with 8 AMRAAMs with the best ARB FM.

Rafale doesn’t need 8 missiles.

prediction: he will be back complaining that historical nerfs happened just like f15e copers

How is a Su-27SM a competitor to the new gen4.5 jets?

Won’t be replying to alvis anymore tbh.

Time to climb effectively identical to F-15C if you wish to use it as a high-altitude BVR bus.
Energy retention of Rafale/F-16A Block 15 for sustained turns.

With 13 minutes of fuel, Su-27SM retains all of its energy at 19.8 degrees per second.
With 15 minutes of fuel F-16A retains all of its energy at 19.8 degrees per second.

Spoiler

So with the climb rate of F-15C, and the turn rate of F-16A Block 15. Su-27SM is in a healthy spot right now.
Though I suspect Rafale will be buffed in sustained if it hasn’t already.

A guy, posted links to french article from 2014/15 talking about Qatar and Egypt contract. And on those pictures, rafale flying with 8 micas (no meteor)’ and guess what, gaijin deleted the post. They just don’t want the truth, nor balance. They did not put the AESA, not so many missiles, plus a broken mica (TVC wobbling is still a thing). Being 14.0 like f15 E or Typhoon is a joke. Hopefully the CAS is best in class.

MICA is bad? Lol, you are delusional.

In the META, not worst. But bad. Worst is r77. But man, I can barely hit at 20km with mica. I saw many f15E flying mach 2 into space, sending 8 Amraam at 40/50km. And they just obliterate the enemy team. 30km to be accurate.
The range is more meta than turn.

R-Darter/Derby would like to prove you otherwise

Su-27Sm based on what the forum guys are saying is great now with it’s buffs.
It is hardly incapable of dealing with the F-15, Gripen, EF and Rafale.

Russia will recieve an Su-30Sm2, and Su-35/35m in the future.

Im sure the R-darter doesnt have an onboard radar…thing just likes to miss anyshot over 15km is a waste.

You can choose to not fly straight into the AMRAAMS. When you see an F-15E on your RWR or see high contrails start notching, the 120s will miss you in most cases.

We had to do the exact same thing with the Aim54 spam. If you fly straight and dont react you will likely get hit
