Tech tree bloat

I had suggestions back in the day:

But reopening a >6 months old post is not that rule-friendly, possibly, so, here is a new one.
Long story short, my suggestions did not materialize.

Though, I have to admit that I finally noticed a sizable issue: bloat.

While I appreciate new additions, like that Z 45 SPAA, the fact that new players will have go over each and every one of those vehicles, while I as a player, who played a long time ago when there weren’t such restrictions, can simply skip them, makes me think that it is quite unfair for new players.
I think more of these vehicles should be foldered, rather than forcing players to go through all these (in my opinion needless) hurdles. I also am not finding these research arrows as a good thing anymore, but I’ll leave it for another time.
Since, as a free-to-play player, you get only 5 slots, ideal of which are about: 1 bomber, 1 fighter, 2 MBTs/Any preferred ground vehicles, 1 SPAA.

So, here are more specific suggestions, for rank 4 Germany, at least:
SPAAs are pretty much a must in terms of foldering, and tigers should be foldered too.
M109G should be foldered with other SPG’s, but I’d move this one to rank 5, so that it properly is in the Cold war part. Same with JPz 4-5.
LeKPz M41 I’d also move to rank 5, while in it’s place I’d put the VK 1602 leopard prototype. Since, we are seeing more and more not-so-historical vehicles anyway.

P.S. some side ideas:
I think we should have a separate tech trees for cold war West Germany and East Germany. Bit like how we have helicopters requiring either tanks or planes of sufficient rank accessed. That in turn, should also make the EG more with other Warsaw pact members, while WG would be more often with the NATO members. This should help some folks in simulator battles. I’d also like to see more EG tech tree content, like Shilka SPAA.

Also, on the air side of things, it is kind of worse:

To reach planes that feel right for a West Germany line-up (rank 6), one would need to sift through quite a lot.

Lot of these really need foldering, or, removing those research path dependencies.
