Even as this is rather off-topic: GMs are just humans - and are entitled to have bad days too. 10 strikes and you have a perma ban. But u can appeal to get the ban revoked - after 3 months. It worked for me last year this way…
As a funny sidenote:
I was accused of insulting a large portion of the player base - just by mentioning IQ statistics. I mean if 10-15% of citizens of a specific nation have an IQ of 83 or less there might be a chance that some of them find a way to play wt. Don’t cite such statistics if your counterpart has the same citizenship - there is a high probability to face a lack of humor…
Yes it can be revoked, how did you do yours ? My reply to ask for a revoke was a bit ambivalent and lacked any answers as to how to proceed, except maybe by groveling it seemed, so I left it as it is not an especially welcome feature in the game.

Also true a lot of people have no sense of humor, or they have never been to those dark times and places where that type of humor, gallows humor I believe it is called, can be one way to cope with it all.
You might have noticed that i created this thread and invested a lot of time to bundle this topic as it annoys me like hell and affects a lot of Air RB players - together with victims of area bombing in Ground RB.

I challenged every chat ban before the perma ban (why, which wording, etc.) - and escalated things to actual gaijin employees rather quickly.

I even argued that in every law based country (no matter if based on common law or civil law) you have the right to retaliate without punishment if your response (=reaction to an insult with an insult) is on the same or a lower level.

So even if gaijin was factually correct (i got 2 chat bans revoked) with their punishments and the final perma ban, i was told that i could appeal after 3 months.

The CM Orson_ES was helpful and i am sure that my rather clean record in the old and new forum was helpful too.

I mean guys muted in the old forum had full access to the new version - and i saw recently that one of my “special friends” with a new yt channel got away with a temp forum ban for racist/nazi remarks.

No, time passed, as well as comportment in the game since the ban happened (taking into account also other offenses in this time) matters. Groveling serves nothing at all.

And what case is not severe? There are no explanations, nothing. Gaijin did extremely poor job explaining their rules, punishments. Not even talking about game mechanics, which are not described at all, just figure out yourself lol.

Should Gaijin give You the list of rules like “Don’t teamkill” or “Don’t ram others” everytime You start the match?

I am not talking about teamkilling. I’m talking about their rules in general. Nice expectation bias here, idk if you should even have masters degree while doing assumptions. They fail to explain their rules to begin with, also the punishments are not listed either, so no one knows what consequences to expect.
Same goes for game mechanics, they fail to explain how game works. There is very little info about, you have to spend hundreds of hours of trial and error to find out.
What? There is a section talking about it of the rules that I have accepted by creating an account?!
Like really it is not hard to understand that people who are crying about it are the ones who deserve the ban.

Absolutely not, it just says TK is forbidden and that is it. Time period for special events indicates 3-7 day ban, meanwhile many got 1 hour, 1 day, 2 weeks, 1 month. So there is no official statement what punishments are.

Have you actually read the rules? What further explanation do you need? From those rules it’s obvious that calling other players the n-word, to kill themselves, or other racist or xenophobic remarks are not ok, and that it will lead to sanctions.
And at the very least after the first sanction one would expect a player realises that those rules are indeed no just empty words, but are expected to be followed, no?
Also, if unsure, any player has the possibility to ask us Game Matsers about the Chat ban, and we will explain, providing proof in the form of the chat log.

You see the point? Bans are reviewable, but gaijin’s rules and reality contradicts. I have LOTS OF GAMES when I was slammed out of the air and I had teamkill counted on me. Literally. See a guy trying to ram me? Don’t touch controls, he crashes me, he crashes himself, I’m the teamkiller. I have reasons to review the account restriction, but I’m being placed in same sh1thole as every other toxic monkey who was actively teamkilling on every game basis. This made me overthink to never invest any cent to this game every again, because next time my account might get perma banned and all money I put into it will be gone.
You always have a chance to ask game masters about it but noooooo, of course You are innocent.
Not to question that I have teamkilled in same manner as You described and I wasn’t banned.

I did, every single of them sent copy paste answer they don’t care, they can’t review anything and won’t change. Literally in other words “it’s your problem, f off”
Whatever, I don’t really care about this topic anymore, because it is not going anywhere, just wasting my and everyone’s time. I am happy that this happened now and not later, so I can stop investing into gaijin before they get more $$$ and close the account forever, because of their game not working properly to begin with.
