The pure fact that players are too stupid to understand & accept that friendly fire belongs to warfare gaijin calls “realistic” is sad enough. These folks ruined RB. In order to avoid repetitions - an extract from another thread:
Imho you touched the core issue of this - but from the wrong angle.
- The plain fact that gaijin was forced to turn off friendly fire (tank vs tank) in Ground RB proves quite impressive that their target customers were unable to play the game as intended.
- Instead of renaming the mode after this to Ground AB+ they decided to keep it that way to keep the money flowing.
- But the same guys started to flood Air RB lobbies like there is no tomorrow - with the same attitude they play Ground RB “point & click, live, die, repeat”.
- So if them same kind of players are ruining the mode Air RB gaijin can decide if they follow the money like in Ground RB - or they try to force players to play the mode Air RB as intended.
- To make things clear: Friendly fire is and was part of warfare. Just look at WW2: List of friendly fire incidents - Wikipedia
Whatever you say - this team kill discussion affects Ground RB to the smallest degree - they have markers and if they bomb friendlies they are either not experienced enough or they don’t care.
Air SB pilots suffer from the C+P spam of identical aircraft on both sides and IFF issues which enforces them to get so close to identify them.
Air RB pilots suffer from the inexperience of their missile slinging team mates, totally unrealistic combat scenarios (way too many aircraft at jet BRs), reckless game play and intentional team kills & griefing whilst playing in a single life mode.

I got banned for 1 hour… lol
First time i got any punishement for TK in 12 years… i reckon it was just automatised based on past behaviour as a warning seing as i didn’t even do intentionnal tk’s recently and given how many got this
The God mode award is more aimed at ground battles where there is more opportunity to achieve that award. Personally id rather someone in a Biplane on Ground battles trying to meme on tanks/SPAA than trying to take on a jet in Air battles.
Almost seems that they want to thin out the player base, maybe they are getting rid of the free to play players. Part of the game design means that this is going to happen and on some modes it will happen far more frequently.
Maybe the greedy snail of avarice will allow you to unban your account for a payment ?
Who knows what the state of the games finances are, did enlisted not fair as good as the money poured into it, and the other games in the Gaijin stable seem to have gone very quite. A chance to off load something they no longer really are interested in and is too much effort and hard work to keep going and the income is falling ?
Who knows ehhh, it certainly seems like Gaijin have no idea. Also judging from the amount of posts closed they do not want any discussion about it, just discussions that approve, support and slap them heartily on the back for s job well done.
No transparency, a bit like the HR instant dismissal for gross misconduct, a few examples and then a statement saying there are too many to list, so basically we can make it up to suit us if we need to get rid of you.

Theres incidents like this in pretty much every match sadly but i don’t think that they should count towards an exclusion, IF the killed player accepts the apology.
Also take note how theres 3 tks in the 30 sec clip. Thats what new players in high tier results in.

Well a lot of theories have proven to be true MK Ultra, infecting US citizens with syphilis and letting them die to observe the effects over the victims lifespan.
So why not this one, you know as much as I do about the inner workings of the game e.g. absolutely nothing.
I have noticed that the moderators do not do a particularly competent job/role of interacting with the player base as an intermediatory for the company, often belittling and being sarcastic to players not a very professional attitude or impression.
It is just a voluntary role with no training/guidelines or parameters, the least Gaijin could do is provide a little assistance.

If you intentionally TK, you deserve it. I’m mostly F2P, and I didn’t get banned.
Yes I expect you do, you have liked some of my replies so we must share some commonality with our views of the game.
As for teamkilling, yes not a positive gameplay aspect, same as pushing team members off cliffs or into the open or blocking their movement making them vulnerable. Sometimes it is by mistake though, someone drives in front of you, or drives into your artillery strike or bomb damage area.
Is each case reviewed in its entirety and the context surmised, I very very much doubt it, just an easy lazy way to feed red meat to the masses and clap hands and sing Kum Ba Yay at the magnanimous wonder of the company.
There in lies the nub of the matter, the interpretation of the company of Team killing. Is it just an easy, lazy catch all that gathers up mistakes and potentially innocent players or is it an in depth review of the situation taking in context, I strongly suspect it is the easy, lazy way out.
I would doubt that every incident is even looked at, and it is possible to deliberately get team killed, in this case potentially leading to a ban through someone else’s malicious actions.
All in all the game just seems to get worse and worse after every update.

No matter that for cheaters that they have banned much more, there is a whole system where things are being checked by proper people mostly?
Belive me I have reported many real cheaters myself (as they got banned) and it is not so easy to get someone banned.
If you’re killing enough friendlies to be banned, you should learn to be more careful and play better.

That is the crux of the matter at this time, it is almost impossible to get people banned. All the reports that must flood in on an hourly let alone daily rate, all investigated no way. It seems that some players are almost given a free pass or at not investigated at all as they continually carry on with no punishment or warnings. When it does happen it is a long time, hopefully that tardiness means a full investigation is being carried out before an outcome is determined.
But now there are a wave of bans, what gives, why now and why the sudden overwhelming interest by the company and how have they had the time to thoroughly investigate each one, did they hire a tranche of new employees to do this, will it continue, will they find in the future they have very little to do?
That appears to be the problem that is causing this storm, people suddenly being banned but not knowing why, seemingly a problem in this digital age called to task over something you posted many many years ago.
Again transparency and information would be nice for these players, knowing when and what they did to deserve this, is there a cut off or are all your actions permanently kept so eventually days, months, weeks or years in the future you will exceed some arbitrary figure and you are banned. Holy crap even criminals get a better and fairer deal than the players of Warthunder.
Then players moan about team mates hanging back and not helping, or as one topic on the forums had in its title taking potshots at the enemy does not help the team.
There is no co ordination, direction or consistency in the game or its management it stumbles and lurches from one crises and bad decision to the next.
It fails to be entertaining or engaging.
