@luque13 but the Kh-59 is twice the weight of the Kh-35 though

@luque13 It is Kh-35 and also it is Ka-52 prototype.

Having seen more videos on LMUR I agree it is a LMUR launch

I mean tbf, they definitely could have janked their way into making it possible

I remember this video, but LMUR didn’t have a name at that time, so many people called this missile “Kh-59/69”. In this video it happened

Damn, limit is 10k? Unfortunate

It’s the gunner not the pilot tbf

Very true

Can someone tell me if this is right?
So to confirm:
Early to late 90s - su-27(m) produced. Modernization of the original su27s. However, not put into service, with a few units being transferred to the Russian knights. Only prototypes. Also referred to as “Su-35”. Lacks dual r-77 mounts.
Early 2000s till now - su-35(s) prototyped and produced for Russian Air Force, with redesigned engines that supports dual r77 pylons between the intakes and new no35 radar. Different from the original su-27(m) (based on it? Almost definitely). Separate development from su27m. Put into service with Algeria, china and maybe iran(not sure about this one)

Su-27M is related to the Su-35 and Su-37 development cycle afaik

Isn’t this the Su-30MK?

I’m pretty sure Algeria and china have su35s, not sure about Iran though

Apparently the airframes that were originally built for Egypt and were reportedly bought by Iran (after Egypt cancelled their order due to threats from the US), were delivered to Algeria instead:

https://www.twz.com/air/su-35s-once-expected-to-arm-iran-are-now-in-algeria

Spoiler

I bet they bought it for a bargain deal lol

So now algeria has both su35 and su30 mka… and soon theyre also gonna get the su-57

Hmm. I just noticed that the scan pattern report for the BARS got accepted tho, hopefully that gets worked on :)
