if it has a beta at all, it would be with packs. That is more common with new trees of existing vehicle types. completely new vehicle types get invitation based beta’s.
I somewhat doubt there’ll be a beta at all with these vehicles, new lines in existing tech trees aren’t usually locked away like that. Unless they’re really stupid enough to make them a third, seperate, tree.

It would make sense for a whole new tree like air helicopters and bluewater but they might make it like helicopters where you need a certain rank in the tree to start research on them also doubt the beta test because we have had 2-4 events and one was a rerun also been in the works for 8+ plus years and if it is people will be pissed if it a beta test or don’t drop this update where people will prob send some things as war thunder players do

Meh, it looks good but I tend to lean more towards WW2. I’m fine with WW1 (I’d say I like it), I love WW2, and I hate/dont care for anything post ww2. Currently for mine laying, planes are the safest option, but once I get more members I’ll probably have destroyers that can carry mines escort the slow boats that carry mines. Fast mine layers should be able to handle themselves, and for plane I want for form bigger groups so can cover more waters in mines.
100 Type B Contact Mines are better than good.
If you look at the best German WW2 Mine Layer Submarines like the Type XB they only carried 66 mines (considering what you like to do in your activities ingame, the M3 (though outdated) may have the better volume you require rather than the 66 more modern Mines.
M3 also still has torpedos which some mine laying subs dont have or are limited. The M series will all bring something unique if there all added.
Same for me. WW2 stuff are my favourites in game. I kinda like some Post WW2 stuff, like the Meteor, but that can also be considered as WW2.
I would however love to see WW1 planes, but other than that, I prefer the 2nd edition.
I mean yeah more is better, but I won’t be doing mining missions alone, I’ll have dudes with me. The only reason I play arcade is because it automatically reloads my mines for my planes so I don’t have to keep landing and rearming again and again
Also! First things first! Gaijin NEEDS to remove the 15 minute timer on the mines. Instead they can add things like Degaussing rings and other mine sweeping equipment!
I will be trying to make a suggestion for mine towing cables here soon as well!
Even some kind of radius within vessels with minesweeping gear can remove mines would be nice.
Strategic play between minelayers and minesweepers could be really fun

Funny enough almost every military ship out there can do mine sweeping there easy tools to carry and might get you out of a situation. You don’t want to get mined into a port I think even Iowa did de-mining work during the gulf war.
However not every ship is suited for the task its just better to carry equipment to never needed it then need it and not have it.
Would be best if they lasted the whole match Sea Mines should only self destruct if there in a cap point.
Meh. Even then I feel like it should be the priority of a mine sweeper to deal with those mainly because that’s where most people will put their mines so they can protect the point.
For starter mines should be destructible with artillery fire and explosions.
Ive wanted them to be destroyable by depth charges for a long time now, but the depth of the mine should also be taken into consideration
