main drawback of the R-77/R-77-1 is going to be that drag and poor energy retention, R-77-1 atleast addresses the issue partially with small reduction in drag and more powerful motor, still has the poor energy retention affecting it. but it trades it in for good HOBS and maneuverability
the missiles could do with an improved drag model to be a bit more accurate, like how the AIM-120A/B can get its fin aoa improved
I don’t have videos of this yet because windows recordings fill 1gb each for just 5 minutes that aren’t even recorded until the moment i press “record” but a total net of ten minutes earlier instead. Tried to fix it to no avail. Also since I no longer commit to these type of launches I can’t show it either.
R77-1 will definitely hit anything 3km away from it that is not multipathing.
Oh, but I do have source for an AMRAAM hitting me within multipathing zone after pulling almost 90 degrees… from 2km away launch.
he cant cause he knows its either bs, ive taken extremely close range shots only possible with r-77, r-77-1 and mica on many occasions, hell ive shot r77s at a hot target less than 4km out HOBS and killed.
Engine is good and have correct data. The flight model is overnerfed like all flanker in the game bro. Meanwhile the F-15,16,18 is overbuffed. Simple usamain skill optimalization ^^ Just dont play the Su30 or any flanker
its an overblown issue, the mig 29 is the real fucked one.
they all perform as you’d expect in a game without any flight computer limits, there are ways in which they overperform and underperform, f/a18 is a kite with no thrust and is much worse than su30sm, and the f15e is a pig.
neither are “overbuffed” f/a18s are ufos, f-16s have no limits ingame (like every single other aircraft) so they can pull harder than irl, its not an “overbuff” its the game.
what does bvr have to do with flight perfomance, no wonder its good at bvr its only strenght is going fast as fuck, something which ef2k can also do but it can maneuver on top of that.
