Su-39 Current BR is unbearable ( 11.7 )

To think a buff immediately calls for a br change always is fickle.

Theres many vehicles that have been buffed with no br change.

For simulator, a 0.32 KDr is pretty bad.

This is air simulator:

It has double the spawns and a fraction of the kills the A-10C does.
If the Su-39 was so good as many claim, we would likely see a much closer comparison.

In both cases the A-10C is either double or more the KDr of the Su-39.

They’re the same br btw.

The topic is about BR changes for GRB, you on the other hand talking about ARB/Air Sim. People claming Su-39 is good for CAS and GRB not for ARB.
Also when comparing Premium with TT vehicle consider that Premium stats are screwed by new unexpirienced players.

Seeing as

  • it has significantly more spawns than games played, which would indicate to me people respawn in it often, but
  • it also has significantly more spawns than death which indicates pilots are making it back to base without getting killed yet
  • it has relatively small number of ground kills

How often do people napalm bomb in sim?

Considering MiG-29s that went up just for R-73…
And you seem to think Su-39 will stay at what? 11.7/11.3 with ER and/or R-77?

And somehow be the only sub-12.7 aircraft with Fox-3’s
Especially more modern ones, not like Pheonix

Small buffs like slight FM changes or slight countermeasure changes like what happened to F-15s and MiG-29s two updates ago are not enough to change a vehicles br
Something significant like giving it Fox-3’s, is easily enough to change its br

And many vehicles got buffed with a BR change (ala F-14 IRIAF 4 → 6 fakours, 0.3 br increase, MiG-29 R-73s, 0.3 br increase, etc)

New weapons almost always means br increase
Especially if the plane gets a new really strong weapon type (transition from Fox-2 only to Fox-1/3)

Look at F-16A block 10 and then F-16AJ
Same airframe, same avionics, only diff is AJ has 2 sparrows
Then look at ADF which used to be a slightly worse AJ due to fm while it still had sparrows, now sitting at 13.3 because it got AMRAAMS

@Norm_Von_Dolbit

OP even admitted he wasn’t clear in what he was talking about. If he has since changed it, he as since changed it.

But even in ground kills, the Su-39 preforms much worse than the “worse” A-10C.

This is just a comparison of air realistic:

Apparently the A-10C also gets more naval kills? Must be an Nuclear Thunder thing?

You know as well as I do they put the other one up in br and gave it R-73s to differentiate it from the newest model they added before it in the TT line.

If I recall correctly, they moved the IRIAF in br purely because it performance. Then, after a while, the other F-14s were getting buffed, so they buffed the IRIAF, and gave it a new br.

So no. Buffed vehicles do not always see a br change.

Nor do br changes always see a buff.

Wrong. Initial move from 13.0 → 13.3 was due to increase of Fakour loadout. 13.3 → 13.7 was due to performance. Other F-14s had nothing to do with IRIAF moving.

BR changes are literally publically accessible and you refuse to do your research.

Planned BR Changes — April 2026 - Google Drive

No? The 9.13 was added R-73s and were moved from 12.7 to 13.0. Germany also has a 9.12 with R-73s at 13.0, while an identical MiG-29 with R-60s sit 0.3 br lower.

This whole “differentiate it from newest model” also makes 0 sense when WT is known for plethora of copy paste vehicles. Just look at the multiple magachs. There’s two 8.7 magachs whose only difference is the turret.

Because raw player stats are an objectively dogshit metric to balance a vehicle with? Look at Su-33. It’s objectively better (overall) than Su-27 due to digital rwr and more R-27s, yet has worse player stats than Su-27. Should we lower the Su-33 to 12.7 because the majority of those who play it sucks at playing it?

90% of Su-39 players I see in arb do not succeed in getting a kill. They try to pick off howitzers but immediately die to a fighter. In fact, you should notice that it stat patterns are very similar to the F-84B, another plane players use to dive into howitzers, get one ai ground kill before immediately swatted by fighters:

They just C&P’d the German MiG-29 situation so idfk what you’re trying to say here

Average player stats are a bullshit metric to use

Why do you think this meme exists

image

Gaijin has a long history of moving low skill floor vehicles up because the average player is more reliant on their gimmick while the other average player doesn’t know how to deal with said gimmick (IRIAF with fakours)
At the same time we get a lot of undertiered premiums (Su-30MKs) because said average player instantly performs worse once they get a plane that doesn’t handhold you as much while also refusing to learn how to use said vehicle.

@ 2:50

Remind me, what was I again?

It’s almost like I did that event. LOL

so what is it, are you just naive, or lying on purpose?

idk man

idk why your response is a tim’s variety video
btw, that video is from when it was 12.3 in air rb

I timestamped this btw

Let me quote what he said as well:

“What we get in war thunder is the F-14A IRIAF. This is a jet fighter in rank 8 of the American tree, with a battlerating of 12.3 for air battles, and 11.7 for ground. This is the main reward from the Persian Tomcat event…”

Lying on purpose as you post… a youtube video when I have a literal WT April BR change document.

I’m starting to see a pattern of Mr UniqueScorpion presenting wrong facts and old videos and act like he’s right.

Like I said before:

quite ironic.

the research part is as easy as opening the game or looking at the WT wiki
