Not wild because Su-39 is a huge improvement from the base Su-25 airframe, it’s that is not and probably will not fit that role of striker-fighter airplane, I think that it’s certainly intentional that the developers will never implement its missiles in any time soon. Personally I think that the Su-39 is a niche airplane, it could have, but in my opinion it doesn’t need to.
A-10C has always been better. What are you on about?

r-77s
R-27s (ER included)
Honestly they should just give it 2 R27s or 2 R-77s
Since it’s a subsonic aircraft they’ll be far less effective… not that R-77s are great to begin with

It has to trade weapons for weapons
The main issue is br compression, sp costs for 12.0+ spaa and the free Pantsirs, it affects all cas at 11.7+ br, but people here want cas removed so no meaningful discussion can happen about balance…
Or give it its missiles and make it a 12.0?
The a-10c wasn’t getting aim-9ms initially until people cried about it.
2 r-77s in trade of r-73s (because they use the same pylon)
Or 2 R-27s in trade of Vikhirs (same pylon)
So it’s not gaining much by also losing something.
If we consider SHAR FA.2 and other subsonic ARH carriers
if Su-39 get R-77
It will go straight up to 13.0

Considering thread is about grb (assuming it is due to complains about grb spaa), no, its not. A10c gets mogged by su25t/su39 in every way besides aams and maws in grb.
In air sim tho, I would take a10c over both frogfoots any day because of much better cockpit and hmd with iff.

Hell, the AV-8B + is 13.0 because it gets what, 4 aim-120s? Aim-9Ms, and a lot more cms while being a totally better platform.
I could see the Su-39 being 12.3 in arb but for ASB 12.0 is fine now that the F-4s all just got a big buff.

Basically all aircraft has to stay away from the iris-t it’s not just the Su-39, so it’s not an exception. This is not an argument to say it should go down otherwise it works for every aircraft
