Even if you fire C5 at target 30km away and youre both flying towards each other at 1500kmh and at 9km alt, it still takes 22 second to connect.
And that assumes target doesnt defend at all.
I havent noticed any difference in tracking between these two missiles, and ive used R-77 excesively ever since the PL-12 nerf.
The only missile that makes long range somewhat relevant is the fakour 90
and that’s only because it’s really fast and pitbulls at like half the range the AIM-120 does.
Still a complete skill check because you can just press tab and be aware of its existence
Not to mention the very obvious smoke trails as they’re being fired from 40-50km
