loses the infantry capacity of good IFV, and loses the firepower of an MBT, to end up with a very inaccurate autocannon and mediocre ATGMS
currently there was not a single lost BMPT in ukraine front.
also it has good armor.
irl BMPT isn’t that good, it’s accuracy sucks and it’s very susceptible to any attack.
literally the reason of why Russia built it was cuz they needed something to counterrest the infantry attacks in urban enviroments, that’s why the TT BMPT has 2x30mm grenade launchers.

BMPT has horrible accuracy, bad mobility and the armor isn’t like the one in WT.
M1A2 SEP V2 and Leopard 2A7V are the actual beasts in the battlefield (excluding the fact that a FPV drone is deadlier than both of them).
I did not mean to start some argument, i thought this is fun conversation or something, while i understand your frustration or\and you may be have not suitable past against russia in war thunder ( maybe due to it being OP or smth ), I mean every vehicle has its own weaknesses, even the M1A2 SEP V2 and leopard, while speaking about combat effectiveness, I think personally russia has some quality in producing tank ( including cost effective production ), while the NATO tanks on the other hand, they suitable in certain environments, in ukraine they are not that effective, sense they are fighting in urban fields, and designed to fight for urban combats, they are not doing their job effectively due to alot of factors, the russian, not because i support russia or the nato, russia have alot of loses due to lack of experienced soldiers in the Russian side, which lead to alot of loses in their front line attacks, the NATO on the other hand are very careful in entering their wars, they dont Put their soldiers in a war they did not want to get in, they simply either support ukraine in small units of soldiers ( to decrease loses ), or give them A huge support from Tanks\planes\artillery barrages. which considering it effective, and counting as the war in ukraine a “bleeding war” for both sides, Not all vehicles in this war are showing their true potential due to the revolution of drones. respectfully.
If they chose the main gun and four kornet missile option that will would be so nice.

In my opinion would have been more balanced in war thunder as its easier to disable its one gun. And IRL would have been alot more accurate. But we have to admit the current BMPT was a bad design.
The t-15 tank learned its lesson and followed Object 199 better

I admit russian Vehicles/materials/arms/armaments are good and well designed by russian engineer to fulfill their own role in a specific combat environments like the other nations such as countries in the NATO. every vehicle is made to fulfill the need of a specific of a previously selected combat role
