Struggling in the BUK

Thank you! I’ll probably just turn it off most of the time, then; or turn it off to engage.

Hello, fun police here.
Launcher radar is PESA.
Hope you have a good day.

its 90 in azimuth and 60 in elevation

Cuz I like to fart red smoke trails above BUKs and laugh at the missile which can’t hit anything at any range till a newly spawned gepard/ tung/ etc shoots me down?

Non-top planes who can never pull away a second pantsir msl can all laugh at BUKs lol

I should go 1 day of premium again and grind the Buk quick. I want to test it out in actual combat and not just in test drive.

Ok? Isn’t the full picture.

Even if they do this, you apparently don’t realize this will still kill off dozens of aircraft’s capability to be played in air RB

Players like these really frustrate me… I understand that some people or a good portion have skill issues but like… oh well…Gave some advice, up to them if them to take it or leave it. I took majority of the kills 1st and the only one shooting thanks to being at a better position for a great view. If i were at spawn with a Pantsir or BUK, those trees would of broken lock, loose track, show up in radar for split second etc…plus get sniped by tanks or 1st place CAS looks for SAM = No kills or action seen.

those being? everything will be the exact same, you just gotta actually notch lol. I think what would be “eliminated” isn’t the Jets themselves but more of their player base. People were crying about being unable to defeat ARH or IRCCM on release, over time ppl adapt that’s how it works.

anything with bad rwr or uses IR only missiles in fox1/3 matchmaker becomes useless if multipathing is removed.

SO in other words, the jets are eliminated?

the only thing with a bad rwr that i can think off is unaffected by this, would even benefit from it (J37Di) while fox 1/3 jets are largely irrelevant anyways, on the other hand i believe this would benefit the game since then again (burning it down) if fox1 fox2 carriers become unplayable against good ARH carriers their numbers will tank and gaijin will have to finally act (hopefully decompression, one can dream). Once again apart from the fact that said fox1 carriers (F15A, Su27/33) should be played at altitude anyways while those who can’t, once again, are useless regardless and should be moved down anyways (F2ADTW, M4K).

pretty much every russian rwr is garbage until 13.7+ and can’t be relied upon for notching. F-104S.ASA has an AUDIO ONLY RWR.

You also didnt address IR only jets in fox1/3 territory, of which there are a lot.

gaijin has historically NEVER did anything even CLOSE TO RELATED to this. They simply let BRs die when they do. Please come up with better ideas.

You just said M4K and F2 ADTW should be a lower BR than the F-15. I just think you don’t understand the game.

never said they should be 12.3? but a fact is at 13.0 both of them are dead, ideally give the ADTW AAM4s and move it to 13.7 and just move the M4k down, it’s truly a sad brick compared to anything at its BR.

sure they aren’t perfect but perfectly serviceable especially at altitude where they’re meant to be played.

that thing doesn’t sit at a BR where it would be much affected by this?

there’s a lot of money in those BRs which is one of their main motivations, make russian gear look good and make money, so I do believe they’d act

nobody said you did, you DID SAY DIRECTLY though that the M4K should be 12.7 and the F-15A with the same issues the M4K has should be 13.0 because “it can fly high” (no it cant)

No, you can’t use them to notch ,period. They do not give 90 degree angles.

This has no relevance.

It faces 12.7??? Even at 12.0 there are F-4S with 7F?

Mig29, Su27, Su33, Mig29G all have a 90° angle? the only issue is its not digital which makes IDing threats a bit annoying. Su30MK2 AMV, 29SMT, 29M all have a digital RWR. so once again idk what you’re talking about.

neither does multipathing at altitude thus making it relevant again.

which if you read what i said should roughly keep the same MP altitude, F15 at 12.7 should have it reduced yes and it shouldn’t matter if it faces it in a full downtier if we balanced off of that then we wouldn’t have a higher BR spread than 0.3 in MM. Just compare any 13.7 to say a Mig29

not only because of that, the main reason is that the F15 overall is capable at 12.7 while the M4K isn’t, that comes down to multiple things not just the ability to play it at altitude, which btw the F15 can do without much issue, sure 7Ms against ARHs and R27s but that’s something you expect queuing at that BR in the first place.

No, they don’t. Go play them. They do not report 90 degree angles. They are segmented RWRs.

What?

You said reduce it to 25m lmao, its 60m currently.

Once again you do not address IR only planes. Please do so.

Absolute non-sense btw. F-15A gets railed at high altitude.

does look like 90° angle to me but ok (credits to General Lees video about the M29)

it’s about 50 for it to be somewhat consistent, sure keep it at that for early PD radars if you have such an issue w it

it does that at all altitudes that’s why it got moved down but in my experience playing it around 5k meters makes it a bit less horrible to play.

yes buddy, its segmented, meaning that is the “90 degree” segment, meaning he could be anywhere from 80 to 100 degrees or more off that angle.

which with current radar angles of both jets and missiles is enough to defeat it without major issues

Nope.

Imagine arguing over some jets in their own topic instead spamming how someone needs help on buk about jets…
