lol I test drove the BUK on Xbox a couple days ago. There’s a bug where you’ll get stuck in the radar screen and won’t be able to do much except watch the radar
The Buk is nice, but Fire Arc, also known as the Kursk Map, makes it incredibly hard to down jets and helis when flying low and being at curved hills. Fortunately my team had CAP players and they downed most of the Air which left me nothing but Ammunitions to counter. Sucks but oh wells, those AGMs would definitely do soo much damage to my team if I didn’t counter them.
Overall, its a complex SAM to use and I understand the players that struggle with it. Pantsir is still the best one to use.

100% there wouldnt be anything like this if it was any other nation SPAA.

Plenty of people are just using USSR as a scapegoat for their own in game issues.
It’s unimaginable that someone is struggling with any USSR vehicle, as they’re considered to be extremely OP throughout the tiers by those posters.
Gajin added the worst option for the russia team, this buk sam is a long/medium range system, and in this game you wont see engagements over 10km. They should had added the s350 that is the equivalent of the german sam in this game and not this crap
I think the prerequisite for implementing this change is to reduce the height of all trees on current maps to a sufficiently low level. There are currently countless sky-high trees reaching 80 meters in the game, appearing far more frequently than in reality.
Don’t worry about the buk, gaijin says it’s bad anyways. So next update you get coddled with an even better AA system!!
