And nothing said by either dev streams after mentioning AESA nor answering any of the questions popping up in chat about it.
Now we got the Su-30SM leaked for probably next update along with maybe F-18C and J-10B with still nothing about F-2.
Would really like some communication about when to expect it as every reason used to deny the F-2, like radar or armaments, is gone. The logical conclusion is next update but with no guarentee there’s no reason to get hyped assuming it will come
No that what people like to think because they want to think that to justify their anger.
People wanted the Thai sub tree for a long long time now and yet it just been thrown to the side because they want the next best thing
Everyone will want something somewhere that just part of the game.
Some people may hate that addition some people like it
However claiming that X isn’t being added because of Y with no official evidence therefor I’m angry is just a way for people to cope with their emotions and will add nothing of value.
I’m sure it will come. I have a feeling next patch is the “Sorry November was so long we had to short-stroke December here’s everything we couldn’t get to in time” patch.
I 100% believe the Su-34 came early because they didn’t have any other ideas for a multi-role Sukhoi (so myopic), and they knew that they didn’t have time to get the Su-30SM out because of TVC, so the gave us the Su-34 last patch and microwaved the Su-33 out of deep-freeze to throw us a bone.
I’m not complaining, but UMPK’s could’ve come back in the summer patch with the rest of the glide bombs, I think they’re really scraping the barrel to give everyone not Western Europe something to play with this Winter.
I mean they basically put a hard pause on the Thai subtrees after the VT-4 to Japan someday controversy occurred, and then basically gave Japan the Thai air subtree it could’ve gotten a patch ago after some dubious qualifications about the future of the ASEAN tree.
We have no proof that the F-2 is getting skipped but it is the kind of thing Gaijin has done in the past.
I would very much like a confirmation from someone as to whether or not it is the case. If it is then I think that’s unacceptable. It is still the Japanese tree and those vehicles should take priority. Same for other nations and their trees.
People have also wanted a revenge class battleship for years, yet russia ends up with it, if the f-2 not coming isnt fair for you then you should know exactly how that makes others feel
I mean yes and no. The EFT and Rafale were overdue, but it’s clear as day the Su-30SM should’ve been released at the same time, and it seems pretty clear that it’s more than likely not here because they’ll be piloting the TVC feature for the first time ever in game.
Like someone else said, the SPAMRAAM meta has become more prevalent since release, and a disruption to it was needed. Simply put, as cool as EFT and Rafale are, they weren’t going to be that hard to add beyond the modelling, so I think they really just put them in now due in part to the SPAMRAAM problem.
That being said, and it’s easy to say this because I’m not a Japan main, but having some viable CAS with a Gripen at the end of the tree seems like a fun addition, and I wouldn’t be upset personally if I mained Japan because of it.
The XF-2A could have been added already. It would be 13.0 with current standards.
The Late variants could also be added with the AAM-4B because its a AIM-120B variant.
The AAM-5 can be added in later patches.
F-2 Like the Tornado will arrive too late, unfortunately Gaijin cannot add every vehicle they need to prioritise. I was surprised to see the Euro Canards, we all expected the F/A-18
