Storm Warning - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

AAM-4B has an AESA radar so that would be way to OP

We don’t even know the F-2 is being modeled yet it’s up to gaijin to add it, ya’all just gonna cope with Thailand for now

We know that Su-30SM, Su-27SM, and Su-34 could all carry R-73M, R-74, and R-77-1 amongst other weapons, and I doubt any of them will be added with the Su-30SM in whatever patch it comes in next year.

Why can’t they do the same with the F-2? Give it the AAM-3 and the AAM-4 and press the pause button on anything else for now.

Japan mains can’t have to much fun

True!

hmm… next patch IMHO is better. Mostly because they have a SU-34 and SU-33 now.

True… its a real problem.

Yeah, Thailand was needed!
The only sad part is that we don’t get the unique stuff. The Thai sub-TT should have been added this summer (according to leaks) yet got postponed.

No idea why it got postponed since its just C&P?

The only sad part is, is that Japan has only received 4 domestic planes in over 5 years now, with them being the F-1, T-2, F-16AJ and A6M5 HEI.

While just receiving 9 planes total in the last 5 years.

For a nation with such a mediocre playerbase - the perfect oppertunity to test it.
Just like how spikes were tested in Italy, with the Freccia.

AAM-4 is enough for now. IRL its like AIM-120C-5 equivalent but ofc the stats are butchered but it ain’t too bad.

It really makes Japan mains some of the best in the community.

Great teammates when playing with them. Formidable opponents when playing against them. Plus both China and Russia get medals for defeating Japanese vehicles, so the more stuff that gets added to the game that triggers those rewards, and gets more people playing Japan the better.

Be grateful that you haven’t had your mind melted by muh SPAMRAAM. When the meta shifts again, there’s gonna be a ton of Eagle drivers not having a good time because they forgot how to play the game.

Oh noo looks like people are too unhappy with this update, I think gaijin should cancels it and make us wait for 3 more months.

Edit : Extreme sarcasm does not mean it should be brought under brought under mods attention if it’s clean

I’m not coping with it because I’ve already researched the AJ so I can just pretend it doesn’t exist :^)
Unless the new planes lock me out of rank 8, which would be really inconvenient as I did spent real money to unlock rank 8 the first time…

Most Japanese stats are butchered.
When reporting it, they just get closed with “no bug” eventhough you have clear proof (according to some people who have posted bugs on the https://community.gaijin.net).
So there is no hope.

Not really. Most of Britain’s modern and most capable Battleships (Renown, Barham) have been time locked behind events. The only very capable ship until this patch has been Hood. R Class has been overdue since… well… Scharnhorst was added probably. Almost 3 years ago.

They’re not the only ones who suffer that. Not that it makes it at all justifiable or right.

And now one has finally showed up it ends up in russia who needs it far less

Speaking of cheap copy and paste. I’m surprised the Super Tiger wasn’t cheaply and quickly added to Japan.
Or the normal (F-11) Tiger in the US TT either for that matter.

No. Send the whole patch, just hold back the UK EFT for more “development”. Give Italy your EFT as a Spanish sub-tree, and while we’re at it, a premium F/A-18A+ to appease the US players about a lack of hornets. ;)

For me the thing that hurts the most is the state the Type 10 is in. Has less armor than the Type 90 even though the armor weight was increased. The gearbox makes me sad and the neutral steering is bugged since forever with no fix in sight

Why, we are quite happy with our EF-2000 can’t say the same for the other nations tho

I thought I told you earlier! We already have Hornets! Two of them no less! Stop being so ungrateful slap :)

My theory about the Colorado-Class was right!

They are implementing an older, pre-refit one, as a Mutsu counterpart, which is from 1922 itself;

Later, they may add both a WW2 Nagato refit and a WW2 West Virginia as well.
