Oh yeah, but spamming the spawn where SPAA lurks, like the GBU-39’s, should be quite helpful.
That is the case currently, but its also possible that gaijin just threw them in a folder to make working on them easier.
While the radar is nice. Without the 114L it doesn’t mean much. But i am also opposed to the 114 L being added.

They are GNSS, so it’s as precise as any other global positioning system.
UMPK adds GNSS navigation, but it’s not in the nose-cone. It’s in the strut with the diamond-faced head forward from the wings that you can see here:

So assuming they’re modelled correctly, they’ll have GNSS. The interesting bomb, which I haven’t seen used, nor heard of, IRL, is the FAB-500T (UMPK). That would work, I assume, as GNSS+TV guidance, so you’d probably be locking something with the TV seeker and it would guide towards the target.
GNSS is crucial to the system, but it’s mostly for adjusting the control surfaces, so I don’t think it would be a pure TV guided munition, strictly speaking, although I’d assume it functions, and would be coded to be a gliding TV guided bomb essentially. Point is the stat card should read something like “TV Guided + GNSS”.
Afaik, Su-30SM/SM2 can carry the smaller ones, I’d assume they could carry a 1500kg on the centerline like they can the regular KAB-1500’s, but nonetheless they should be able to carry at least one, if not two per wing for the 500kg variants.
I’m very interested to see if the Su-24M gets some UMPK’s as well, they’ve been seen in flights with 3 1500kg UMPK’s before.
As a Japan main I’m telling you, we want Japanese vehicles first to take priority over any sub vehicle. The only exception is when there isn’t any to add for that respective BR. They shouldn’t have added a whole line. Should have just added the mid tier and high tier stuff like the Alpha Jet and F-5. Top tier CAS is covered by F-2 already…
The sub tree obsession adding more copy and paste isn’t a good thing for the game in the long run.
I hope so but Gaijin is being silent about it and I worry it won’t come soon even if Gaijin also stated it will with other comparable aircraft at the same time (which obviously did not happen).

We will get the F-2 I say when we get the F-18 and Mig-31
And nothing said by either dev streams after mentioning AESA nor answering any of the questions popping up in chat about it.
Now we got the Su-30SM leaked for probably next update along with maybe F-18C and J-10B with still nothing about F-2.
Would really like some communication about when to expect it as every reason used to deny the F-2, like radar or armaments, is gone. The logical conclusion is next update but with no guarentee there’s no reason to get hyped assuming it will come

Basically we arent directly being told but we Are being told “youre getting an F-16 and Thailand youll be happy shut it” which really sucks

People wanted the Thai sub tree for a long long time now and yet it just been thrown to the side because they want the next best thing
