Hello again, today I will be introducing the trainer version of the F-15Js, the F-15DJ!

Short History
In 1975 the Japanese MoD examined the U.S F-15 as a potential candidate to replace the aging F-104J and F-4EJ aircraft in service with the JASDF. A F-15C was evaluated at Edwards air force base and in December of 1975 the F-15 was picked as the winner. Mitsubishi Heavy industries was designated as the contractor and licensing was provided for the F-15C/D. The 2 seat F-15DJ serving as a trainer for the JASDF were built under license in Japan by Mitsubishi during 1981-1997, 12 built in ST.Louis and 25 under Mitsubishi. Both the F-15J and F-15DJ still serve to this day with the JASDF, the F-15DJ received multiple upgrades during its time similar to the F-15Js, in this suggestion today it will be based on the current up to date versions flying today.

Spoiler

In Game
The F-15DJ will not differ much from the F-15J besides some minor differences and most importantly having 2 crew members because of this I think it is more suited to be a future premium/event/squadron vehicle rather then the TT however I will still leave that option. Needless to say the F-15DJ will be similar to the regular F-15Js and be just as deadly in combat as they are fully armed and combat capable, performance also will not be much different if at all. There is potentially a unique jamming pod for the F-15DJ but I have yet to find pictures of this pod in real life.

Unfortunately, no one suggests F35. Don’t forget that Japan also has F35
