The vast majority of feedback on the Sands of Sinai change has been positive, so again, do everyone a favour and separate your personal preferences from the bigger picture.
I legit died in my C2 Yesterday because i was trying to help a fuckin friendly and flank a Abrams. And guess what? The FLANK ROUTE to the OP sniping spot the Abrams was in? It was a red zone, the ONLY way to get to the dude spawn sniping us was to either rush him, or brave a redzone.
What depth??? In example of your “depth” - park in F8 there is exactly 2150m to the point enemy loose spawn protection…
Entire map now is riddled with spots like this. Old version had at least some option to go hill and have grate fight there or counter hill from the dunes. Now you just spawn snipe.
Bigger picture is the poll i show you not you and you 2 friends.
It adds depth because you are now not allowed to go to one good spot and stay there for the whole game.
The hill sucked if you wanted to play on the other side. Without the hill, I see much more players doing other things, and it has led to some more variety.
If one team got the hill, they would be able to easily spawncamp, and shut down a huge part of the map.
That’s for all map changes, not just Sinai.
Some of the maps changes have sucked, like the single cap Alaska or Cargo port, and American Desert.
Yes and all players agree with revert ALL changes, Sinai included.
Consider me the no vote. I want them to revert SOME of the changes but to imply ALL of them made maps worse is insane. Most maps nowadays the spawns are fairly safe and protected. Almost EVERY legacy map up until 2023 has ginormous issues with spawn camping.
Hah i gave up already i did everything now Gaijin won’t listen they still want fast place gameplay like some kind of Call out duty
So the depth for you is to snipe spawn from the map edge like it is now…sad
Your definition of depth is quite the opposite of what it actually means. Removing positions from which enemy can shoot at you doesn’t make game more deep. In fact it makes game more shallow as one needs to pay less attention on its surroundings.
If someone wants to camp on the hill for the whole game so be it. There are 15 more players in a team.
Also every camping spot can be dealt with because if someone can shoot at you, you can shot back at him. Not paying attention on potential sniper positions is only players fault.
@Szatanshow
It forces players to use their brains and not just rush the spots where they can see most of the map. It gives players who don’t want to just camp the ability to move around the map because you can’t be seen all the time.
It made the map fun for me because I don’t have to constantly look towards the hill whenever I am playing.
True, but it depends on how hard it is to shoot back. On some spots it is very fair, but on others its impossible without an lrf.
You can’t definitively prove that. I am fairly sure I voted yes to that poll, but I don’t want the Sinai changes reverted.
Gaijin also sucks at making tanks feel like tanks.
High tier tanks will always feel like go-karts with how Gaijin depicts them. Low tier tanks actually feel like tanks, high tier ones feel like a character in an FPS game.
This is i can find with a quick look.
“this is how new crappy Sand of Sinai”
“New Sinai is crap”
“New Sinai is absolute hot garbage”
“Just played the new version of Sand of Sinai, and I have now officially joined the one death leavers club
Very nice that they finally butchered Sinaï”

It does not force you to use your brain as opponent is directly in front of you. All these changes are just dumbing down the game as average player doesn’t wont to use brain. If map is big and you coultn’t tell which side opponent might come from they you would have to use your brain.
I was talking specifically about Sinai there.
Over half the team on old sinai would just camp on that hill, and make the rest of the map annoying to play because someone could nearly always see you.
You can still flank and snipe on Sinai. It even made some flanks more viable.
I know people don’t like the Sinai change, I am saying that you can’t prove that everyone who voted yes in that poll, wants the Sinai changes reverted.
To the people who do: find different spots to go. Find new routes to take. Some routes are now more viable. Some new viable sniping spots have appeared. It has allowed for a greater area of the map to be a viable place to be in because you won’t always be seen by someone on the hill. The hill also allowed for some bad spawncamping if 1 team lost it.
People just see “map got slightly smaller=bad,” and they ignore the good that came out of it.
Just accept every map as its made.Sinai was a great map and those sat high on the hill were easy targets for those on the low lands. Then the whiners came in a ruined it all.
