I don’t ever think I bloated my ego, I just pointed out common sense facts that you neglected to grasp.

But if we wanted to talk about high horses, my 8.5k total battles compared to your 36k battles in the entirety… that’s 4x more battles than I, and I had the common sense to just say go earn it. Not like you haven’t spent enough time in game anyways. What’s a handful more hours compared to what you’ve racked up.

Seems pretty childish that you had to resort to browsing stats as a demeaning way to fight your battle on a topic that had nothing to do with stats as you’ve stated, unless you just wanted to pad your stats in easy mode without going negative first to earn some missiles. Let me touch that sensitive topic again since it seems to be your only fighting chance to claw your way out.

Doesn’t change the fact that you could easily go earn them. And with your “skills” you shouldn’t have an issue with that at all or even complain about it with your time spent in game. You’ve brought absolutely no real logic to your argument other than I want it because it is hard for me and I don’t like struggling and it’s wasting my time to enjoy the game with the countless hours I’ve already spent in the game since earning them would be such a minuscule amount of that time.

Think I’m content being on my high horse than looking like a horses rear with your poorly articulated come backs and excuses to counter common sense that it could be earned.

Gaijin is giving stock medium range missiles, kudos to them for listening to everyone crying wolf on the forum. Doesn’t change the fact that it wasn’t needed, players just wanted it. Time for you to find something else to cry about.

Well shit we’ve got another PC user jumping on the stat band wagon. Yay. lol. I could care less about my stats when playing on console with a controller handicaps you on a game made for PC.

Another person to slow clap for. Again still doesn’t change the fact that it could be earned or bought. People just wanted crutch for stock grinding.

You cannot fly a plane properly, thus you do not have any basis to call out other people on their skill.

Also LMAO at the controller excuse. Controllers have a disadvantage for aiming guns, not flying planes and certainly not using missiles at BVR range.

I just finished grinding the F-15J (M) from stock btw. I still managed a positive K/D. And the experience is miserable.

Controllers at a disadvantage on this game period. Doesn’t matter how you try to excuse that between aiming or using missiles, it’s clear as daylight never used a controller on War Thunder, it’s night and day difference between M&KB, but that still doesn’t deter me from playing the game and finishing a stock grind on a vehicle I want to play. lol.

And congrats on keeping a positive K/D ratio on that. I’ve got a positive K/D on the SU27SM and haven’t spaded it yet and R77s are trash compared to 120s. Doesn’t mean much to me. I still play the game how it is.

So if it doesn’t matter for you, why are you whining about making the stock experience less shit ?
Because that’s what it is. Having to grind with 2 Aim9M when everyone outrange you by 40km is miserable. It’s not fun.

You have to be extremely passive and try to get a kill or two like a rat. And then if you’re on Golan Height or Sinai, or any of those accursed flat map, well, might as well not fucking spawn because there’s no way you can get within WVR.

It’s not fun. It’s unbalanced. And the F-15 at least is a good plane. The 29SMT is even worse because it’s also horrible in WVR.

This comes off to me like you wanted to be egotistical about SOMETHING but couldn’t find anything… reasonable… so you now brag about… stock grinding? yeesh

I won’t argue the grind sucks, but what game nowadays doesn’t have some sort of grind to it that doesn’t suck? But I’m not complaining about it because to get to medium range isn’t that hard as everyone makes it seem. People just hate being bottom of the food chain for a period of time.

Thankfully the decompression will help with lower tier Jets, that’s a far better option. And stock Chaffs should have been an even better option than giving stock medium range missiles. But medium range missiles are what we are getting. Still didn’t change the fact that many people have done it already

And as for the m&kb vs controller argument, show me a controller user that reigns supreme in this game that isn’t an anomaly. M&KB will always outperform in War Thunder due to the button layout and usage of buttons with the availability of usable Phalanges. This isn’t an FPS game. There’s no assist. And I’m not using it as an excuse for my stats. Just stating that it’s a handicap nonetheless.

The most problem in stock grind on top tier - that you been forced to dogfight-style play, on well, stock plane, with underperforming flight capabilities.

Against fully combat-capable foes. With big amount of weaponry, that can slap you even before visual contact (yes, you can go defensively, but that just get you in a bad odds situation, when some enemy get close to you, and slap you with Fox-2/gun run).

So stock grind logic from prop fighters dont work for top jets.

On stock prop you still have your chances in head-on, or can kill unaware foes during dogfight, and that’s totally okay.

But for top-jets it’s a really uncanny idea.

Its be honest if for top-tier all (class-oriented) weaponry, but most advanced, be available from stock, and player must only grind for flight capabilities improvements, and best missles/bombs.

I feel it most sharp, when try to stock grind Su-27SM.
I have only a two short-range missiles with most RNG IRCCM in game, and reduced fly capabilities.
So all what i can do - just tryhard ambushing enemies (if map give me opportunities), and pound howitzers, if enemies flee, and i still alive.

Later, i have access to R-27ET. Dont get me wrong - i love that stealthy mid-range devils, but FFS, i REALLY prefer some R-27ER on that place, because:

  1. R-27ER can be used for head-on’s, and have pretty hood CCM (as long as i can take enemy in lock).
    (Like 2 last days, 27ET, even when i manage to do “orbital strike”, for some reason start being outrunned/kinematically evaded/flared from 0.3km to target)

  2. I can take only 2x27ET, but if i have ER’s, i can take 4-6 of them.

So i have pretty unreliable missle, in lower quantities, in situation when i need all available advantages.
