I find it telling i genuinely enjoy groundpounding in Il2:great battles but feel myself slowly dying of boredom in warthunder when i decide to strap bomvs to my f8f or f4u to divebomb targets. Difference is good variety of targets, varied (AND BEATABLE) defences and consequences.
Idk,from what i remember when i used Q-5L with 8 firebombs, when i bombed runway and destroy it,i got about 1.2k score and that was before the nerf to score in sim.
I dont know how they do it nowadays to be honest.
Since ITOs there is no way to CCIP the runway anymore, before being above 5km was enough to not get fired at,but now even at 8km you just get insta popped.
Which is roughly what should happen when dropping a single napalm load on the runway. But the event heroes are also using an ordnance switch bug/feature/exploit.
Tried playing Airsim for the first time today and everyone in this game mode is a terrible person and a representee of major issues with the player base, all of them in bombers and without fail the second you shoot at them they slam themselves into the ground.
It’s not all terrible. 3.0-5.7 brackets tend to be pretty chill with friendly folk at UTC+0 18:00-23:0. I can’t comment on times outside this period though.
I also advise against flying on Denmark or vietnam or the like.
Just had a match where one person on each team spent most of the match flying directly at each other and firing Fox3 at each other while not dodging to mutually kill each other.
They did it until they both had at least 17k score then left. I assume they were doing it to farm the event star. Stuff like this happens and people wonder why gaijin nerfs the sim economy.
Joining a nice match with a 9 players each,
You Are so lucky when 9 on lobby represent 9 actually in a team,
You found out more than a half of enemy team play bombers,
Taking heavy machine to hunt bombers and take easy kills,
after 2-3 shooting downs you are lucky when not insulted publically,
after 3-5 kills you are the only dot on a sky,
