There are situations where you simply don’t wait for the end of the battle, then the game punishes you for actually leaving early. Even incentivizes you not to.
Not kidding that there is a good chance with many of these maps that the match is over in a few minutes.
The statement that it’s your fault and you need to leave seems contradictory to the actual game.
But I don’t think they will remove or even reduce the crew locks, because then people could actually rejoin until they get the maps, teams, BRs they like.
