A sillier take is allowing SPAA to take out planes with 0 counter.

You understand that SPAA main role is to take care of planes and it can’t even do that?

You understand that CAS main role is to take care of ground targets and it can’t even do that?

Oh please tell me how it can’t do that at the moment

20 seconds of spawn prot with 0 indicator or counterplay

You know that You don’t have to attack the SPAA that has spawn protection and just attack ground units that are outside of said SPAA effective range?

GL doing that in anything above 7.3 lol

Above 7.3? That is even easier.

Meanwhile there is a plane hovering at 6km over the battlefield outside radar and visual detection dropping bombs on top of the spawn and a helicopter poping out of cover, shotting and going back to cover again.

You just complained about “above 7.3” where AA is as best as it can get, there are also guided bombs as early as 9.3 that can be dropped outside mampad range and gun based AA is screwed.

Assuming you’re talking about walleyes, they don’t lock onto heat signatures untill well within radar SPAA range. until then, they just lock onto the ground.

so it seems to me that we both agree 8.3+ SPAA should get shorter spawn prot than WW2 SPAA.

Sure, but then all planes should take off from the airfield. No more air spawns.

for anything 10.0+ and with guided bombs/missiles, yes.

No. The same treatment as SPAA. If 8.3+ SPAA has shorter spawn protection, all 8.3+ planes take off from airfield.
