SPAA-Helicopter inbalance

you do struggle with english. “Not without the first” means it gets changed together.

its not nonsense since chaff should disturb radar lock. The degree of its disturbance is tweakable for balance, but its current ineffectiveness is unacceptable.

that’s not a magic wand that negates countermeasures

never said anything like that

Provide your sources that show that chaff used by helicopters should disturb the lock of those SPAA systems them. Also you’re forgetting that helicopter blades return a massive radar signature.

Buddy, it is literally what it is designed to do.

never said anything like that

No you just complained earlier and in the in-game chat about how it was so unfair that your flares did nothing to the stinger. So wait, you did.

In the case of the stinger yes it is not only do stingers have their FOV limited after launch they also have seeker shutoff so its physically impossible to flare them

so their is no counter to them currently in game on the helicopters it faces?

so their is no counter to them currently in game on the helicopters it faces?

Incorrect, it is countered by every helicopter that has guided missiles as they can all outrange the ozelots lock.

good to know, now where is this indicated in game, so that I should know it?

thanks for that information .

YOU LEARN IT BY PLAYING THE FUCKING GAME like literally everyone else.

ah so iam at fault for not knowing parameters that the game does not tell its player. but I am the idiot, k

YES play the game read through some spreadsheets even and you wont be dying to the worst SPAA for its br in the game with a fundamentally busted vehicle

while we are at it. can you elaborate on, ground clutter not including forests/trees and is chaff not affecting early radars, realistic or not.

You know what i was gonna give a genuine answer but the answer should be so blindingly obvious there’s no point figure out yourself why a ground radar doesnt deal with ground clutter as much

Define “early” radar

i dont now, you tell me. One would think that an SPAA(like zsu and early gepard) parked behind 5-6 trees should not get a reliable lock through all that. Besides chaff used to work .
But the abrasive and toxic responses sure help tho.

Besides chaff used to work.

It still does. You just didn’t check.

The gepard is not an early radar SPAAG wikipedia is free it has a PD set and the 1rl33 was designed to be resistant to ground clutter

They really don’t and optoelectronic tracking is even worse as it doesn’t work at all if there’s even a few trees to cut line of sight for a moment

The Gepard and similar don’t face aircraft with chaff other than the A-4E and maybe another. Not sure which BR helicopters start to ger countermeasures, but I know the 8.0/8.3s don’t.

The gepard has a PD track radar anyway.

Oh, neat.

Indeed, it’s funny.
