I don’t think Gaijin will add it ;instead, it may be hidden like VT4.

can we please have asean stuff in asean tech tree rather than throwing them all in some random tech tree?

if the CN players want the Abrams then they’ll have to accept it ¯ \ _ (ツ) _ / ¯

they also had kirov class ship at some point

correction: sorry it was sverdlov

no we dont?

no 180mm huh

nah sverdlov is the biggest we’ve ever own (obviously not including the future KRI Gadjah Mada Carrier)

too modern

though again, i prefer that asean get their own tech tree rather than being thrown to some random country. like we should already have enough vehicles to make our own tech tree

This fully makes sense now.

even if we have enough stuff people will complain.

Look at the announced United Korea tree, there’s already some commotion over “copy paste” there when they have quite a lot of domestic designs.

No, at that point just make Poland, turkey, Vietnam, Canada and ect. Their own TT. No need to warthunder with more tiny TTs (Israel) that maybe five people are going to play.

BTR-4M Suggestion up! check it out!

Cool man! I hope we see more BTRs but I doubt we will see them until USSR/Russia gets her own equivalent. We got a dev blog today so who knows maybe this update round will be the revenge of the BTR for being forgotten.

if we claim the oplot is the most interesting vehicle Thailand brought to the Japanese tech tree then what do think is the best Malaysian or Indonesian vehicle that can be added?

Well, best in what context?

Both have very interesting stuff to offer - I’ve a List at the top of this thread and we’ve to Suggestions covering the best options;

In general, I think the most interesting / best additions would be following;

Indonesia:

  • LVT(A)-4
  • Humfox
  • Saladin
  • AMX Mk-61
  • M35 (M55)
  • AMX-13 (105) Retrofit
  • RapidRanger MMS
  • Cobra 8x8
  • Harimau Hitam
  • Leopard 2RI
  • Hawk Mk.53
  • Rafale B F.4

Malaysia:

  • ASFV-90
  • KSSB Scorpion
  • ACV-300 Adnan
  • AV8 Gempita
  • PT-91M
  • MB-339A
  • CA-27 Mk.32
  • Hawk 108
  • Hawk 208
  • Su-30MKM

Like Ares said, it depends on what you mean by “best”
Air:
I think the Rafale and Su-30MKM will fill gaps that Japan has the best and there is no doubt that they will be strong performers. Rafale is at least confirmed to get Hammers in ID service, so a big plus and on paper the MKM is compatible with Kh-38s.

Ground
It kinda depends on what you’re looking for. For Malaysia the pickings are a little slim as they just don’t have a whole lot of ground vehicles. If put at a decent BR, then the PT-91M can be strong, but will never be a top tier contender. The highlight for me is the AV8 because while it has the terrible GI-30, it will have pretty good ATGMs to supplement it over something like the Badger.

For Indonesia, they have a lot more too offer. To fill some AA gaps before top tier; the Sherpa MCPV has Mistral 3s and a FN-M3, so a decent upgrade compared to the Type 93 as long as it’s missiles stay massively gimped. There is also the Badak Skyranger that could be acquired. The Harimau PULAT could be make or break depending on how strong it’s APS is. The Komodo would be a rat car with an autocannon and really good ATGMs. The BTR-4M could be a highlight if given it’s ATGMs. Again, the top MBT, the Leo 2RI just doesn’t have the things to make it really shine like retaining the original Leopard 2A4 sight and commanders sight.

One vehicle that is unlikely, but still has a slight chance that would 100% be the best Indonesian tank would be if they decided to add the KAPLAN FSRV. The FSRV is just a FNSS solo program, but there is still a chance as the KAPLAN/Harimau is a joint hull program. Upgradable to SuperShot 40mm and with OMTAS missiles that are similar to Spikes.
