still wanna see the vt-4 in the sub tree just to see chinese cry
Lol, Im not touching that issue with a 12 ft pole, that has been done to death in the forums lol
Would love to see Oplot seeing that even the A1 sucks like crap.
Given gaijin’s attitude to adding subtrees, the fact that japan got thailand in the way the have demonstrates the fact that there likely won’t be an ‘ASEAN subtree’ as the post suggests, it will likely be focused on thailand with a few individual additions from other nations to boost japan’s competitiveness in certain elements, although I am firm in my belief that Malaysian flankers belong in the chinese tree
They wouldn’t, or at least there is no reason to.
They aren’t happy with the current VT-4 implementation, so they would probably find it funny if Japan got the even worse Thai variant.
And having it in multiple nations also makes more players aware of the tanks issues, which might mean more of a push to have it fixed and can benefit Chinese tanks in game quite a bit.
Wouldn’t be the first time one nation came before others. Like how India came later than South Africa (and just now got the first techtree addition with the Osa).
Especially for air Thailand can’t really fill the 3 empty lines past rank 5, with even all of their options to be added in the future fitting in one line. This leaves a suspiciously ‘more ASEAN Founders’ shaped hole in the air tree.
As for the ground tree, Thailands subtree ends in a worse VT-4 and an Oplot with 3BM42, so some higher BR options would need to come from other nations here too.
It might have been true at the beginning, but this is no longer the case.
In fact, we want to see the VT-4 in Japan solely because Gaijin might find more incentive to fix inaccuracies with the VT-4, which will also benefit VT-4A1.
With this development, I respectfully ask you to change your opinion on the matter, thank you.
i will when i see it in japan and its actual reaction at the time
It’s up to Gaijin whether they will or will not add it.
But for the time being, there is no point in pursuing this matter further.
A large majority of the Chinese community doesn’t use this forum at all.
Exactly.
They will shout 100 times at Tieba instead of say ONE time at here, using rude language to other nation people, say how Rostec or a random Russian do and shout all Slavics(include Gaijin) hate China, refuse to report politicial nickname and say GM is a traitor to China
It’s just not a reliable way to gauge reactions. People in the past have twisted what originally started as misunderstandings on the Chinese forum to invoke horde mentality and started fights constantly. It’s not well-moderated, which is a problem with Tieba in general.
Second-hand messages deceived many people
I just saw someone said Smin(instead of Chinese CM though they both could be seemed as Gaijin official) promised Chinese producted vehicle won’t go to Japan TT
Btw, is there 2 Chinese are talking with English here?
You mean me? I am ethnic Chinese, yes.
I’m domestic Chinese.
Ya… i thought you’re Chinese cause you know the Leo 2SG event at Tieba, but i’m quite confused cause your English is so well than most of Chinese at forum which could use only machine translation or don’t know the difference between dislike and unlike
I see, I’m currently studying in Canada.
But anyways, this is a discussion thread on ASEAN. So I won’t derail the topic any further.
Some indonesian vehicles that can be added as premiums from a recent exercise, all of these are part of Yonkav 1/BCC (1st Cavalry Battalion ), under Divif 1/Kostrad (Kostrad 1st Infantry Division)
Personally I think its best for the base vehicles to be added as regular vehicles as part of the sub-tree and have these specific battalions versions as prems or squadrons equivalent, rather than locking the standard version behind a paywall/grindwall
Battalion's logo
Leopard 2A4+ 8974-01 “War Daddy”
Leopard 2RI [unknown serial] “Red Merapi”
Marder 1A3 [unknown serial] “Pandawa”

Another option would be the Leopard 2A4+ with camo netting during Ex. Keris Woomera 24 w/ Australia
most likely belonging to Yonkav 8/NSW (8th Cavalry Battalion) under Divif 2/Kostrad (Kostrad 2nd Infantry Division)
This goes hard. Taken during a bilateral exercise between the JMSDF and PN back in Nov 2021 with JS Kaga & JS Murasame with BRP Jose Rizal
Hello, it seems like my proposal for the Thai Fokker F-27 Maritime Enforcer has been approved for posting. Please do check it out!
Gaijin should move Phong kong T34 to asean sub tree
yes as Ive explained, similar situation to the Type62 in the USSR tree, it was implemented there since the original nation (China) werent implemented, the vehicle are then transferred to the chinese tree when it was introduced
