Sadly its fake.

Yes but its more than likely a photoshop.
Yeah. Although I can see it being done one day, afterall the Chinese added PL-12 and PL-8B to their Su30s. What extent of change though IDK.
just a heads up, from now on i will mostly only post about future ID defence equipment here (as well as recent arrivals & such), if its current/old vehicles and the like, it would be posted in the Expanded ID Ground list
for example things like this:
found out recently that we had tested an rcws with a modified amx-13 chassis in 2009-10. this vehicle is actually two different vehicles, one earlier model, one later
late:
early:
the late version’s rcws mount is a bit more protected, its engine fan mount is also a lot bigger compared to the early model. the upper glacis is entirely modified in the late variant with a shallow angle (notice the V shape upper glacis instead of the straight taper on the early variant) as well as with the late model all of the cameras & sighting systems is placed differently.
Its hard enough to find HD images of the vehicle, but specifications of it is a lot harder, so if anyone knows anything about this program, feel free to let me know!
Interesting news! Possible export of the Type 03 (Chu-SAM) to the Philippines
Japan Considering Export of Air Defense Missiles; Informal Talks Held with Philippines
Japan and the Philippines are reportedly discussing the export of the Type 03 (Chū-SAM). It’s currently unclear which of the three variants is being discussed. However, I think there’s a good chance that they are talking about the latest version currently under development: the “03式中距離地対空誘導弾(改善型)能力向上型” (Type 03 Improved, Performance Upgraded Version). Unlike the SPYDER-MR that the Philippines already operates, this latest Chū-SAM variant is expected to acquire ballistic missile interception capabilities. It seems likely that this capability is what the Philippines is aiming for. Or, it’s also possible that Japan might export older models that have become surplus due to equipment updates.
List of Variants:
- Type 03 Middle-Range Surface-to-Air Missile [SAM-4]
- Type 03 Middle-Range Surface-to-Air Missile (Improved) [SAM-4 kai]
- Type 03 Middle-Range Surface-to-Air Missile (Improved) Performance Upgraded Version [In Development]
The Deputy Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Air Force attended the acceptance ceremony for the first batch of MRCA Rafale fighter jets from Dassault Aviation In France
Notable excerpt(s):
The three aircraft handed over are dual-seater variants, numbered T-0301, T-0302, and T-0303. They are scheduled to be flown directly from France to Indonesia in January 2026.
already officially accepted, but still awaiting delivery on January next month
idk if it posted here before but here the photo of Japanese Level bomber operated by Indonesia during the war of Independence

Ki-48
Ki-49 “Pangeran Diponegoro II”
correction: Ki-48 is Pangeran Diponegoro II, whereas Ki-49 is Pangeran Diponegoro I (common mistake, Ive done it too).
They share the same story as the Blenheim with Sakae engine. Though they are bombers, they’re mostly only used as transport. And all 3 didnt live long unfortunately.
Ki-48 (P.D.II) was not switched to a transporter, but its still primarily used as a way to repatriate Japanese troops in Indonesia as well as a way of transporting former ww2 European POWs during its limited service time before it got destroyed in an air raid.
Ki-49 (P.D.I) meanwhile had seats installed, so its safe to say that it had been converted to a full transporter by the Rikugun (Japanese Army). It was planned to be used as a transport for a delegation to AUS, but it went to Maguwo instead. in Maguwo it severely damaged in a crash & subsequently cannot fly anymore, so they left it out in the open as a decoy for Dutch aircraft to target

i found the photo of Indonesian Tu-2S after it’s delivery from PRC in 1st squadron (low resolution)

R.I.P. Wings Palette, I miss you
On the other hand, I really doubt that the camouflage would look like that, Indonesian Air Force had already established their own aircraft numbering system, which for bombers would be M-xxx format. They wouldn’t just slapped a random number on top of the original PLAAF aircraft number.

a friend of a friend tracked the serials, it was apparently M-471 to M-482
reasoning of its short service life:

Damn, those are some rare photos
Oh you actually know him? That’s very cool!
my friend’s friend. Personally I dont know the guy
Ah alright, I often saw his name on historical IdAF topics
yeah hes excellent when it comes to researching stuff. He was also one of the first to mention that we had lim-6s, atleast that’s where i found the info from
Possibly new smart bombs for ID’s Mk80s.

GPS, INS (+optional laser seeker)
PT. TAG has been developing dumb bombs and helping with dislitbangau (basically Air Force’s research & development branch), so quite credible
Most likely going to be this: HGK-82

The same document also mentioned MAM-L guided bombs procurement discussion (interestingly) with PT PAL.
Although mostly used by UCAV, Turkey also used the MAM-L on their Hürkuş, which is in the same class as Super Tucano.
Considering its PT PAL (navy side) they’re presumably for the Drones on the future KRI Majapahit carrier
