Steam would do this.

Imo if you have someone locked, fired a missile/ guns at them and they crash you should get a kill. Obviously no where near a perfect situation and I’m sure there is a better idea out there but something is better than nothing. I absolutely hate when people do this

And obv is you’re in G lock and crash it should remove the kill. Heck remove the crew lock.

If they truly crash out of G lock then I got nothing against them, but these were obvious just “dont let him kill you” crashes

So you’re banned as well. Got it.

Can’t for many reasons, and 2 of those reasons are exploitation of game mechanics.
Go make a game with that mechanic and see how well it does.

Might not be thinking hard enough but how would you exploit this? I can’t think of a way. Now obviously occasionally someone might get a kill they didn’t deserve but I’d rather that then the current system

If it wasn’t happening every singe game then a lesser punishment would be fine. People do it cause there’s no reason not to.

doesnt happen very often at all

If definitely does.

just pure spite.

They do it not for their stats but for yours. Its one less kill you get on your statcard and for your rewards post-battle. And also to waste your time (and theirs for some reason) if they’re the only one left in the match.

For enduring confrontation, which is exploit 1, you take off and crash while a friend is nearby.

There goes any chance of air RB EC ever becoming a game mode if this is added as a feature.
Even if it looks grim currently for that potential game mode.

For standard battles…
Crashing on a howitzer to grant it a frag.
Crashing near a team mate to grant them a frag.
Crashing off takeoff to make someone on the enemy team feel like their frags mean nothing.
[Yes, these have programming fixes. I am aware. That’s not the point with exploit 2 though.]

And onto a more nuanced point…
There are an above zero amount of people [at least hundreds] that don’t feel good when being given frags.
Let alone that vast majority of people that accidentally crash… at least a number of those feel bad about failing to judge their maneuvering correctly.

This idea has never been put into a game before, and even the eject for frag had to be removed from enduring confrontation due to the 1st exploit.

I saw 2 - 4 intentionally crash, and 5 - 10 unintentionally crash in the last few weeks.

Now onto my perspective:
I didn’t feel anything negative personally. I felt multiple times “Cool, one less enemy to deal with.”
Because at the end of the day, they pay full repair cost all for what? Preventing me from getting 8000SL? Okay…
I guess you could say it harms my “Frags per spawn” but I’m not someone that cares about my stats… I play bombers that easily ruin my stats just for playing them.

So to me… I don’t see the appeal. I don’t want to be gifted frags because someone crashes, even if an above zero amount are doing it intentionally.

Literally happens every game, especially with base bombers.

Base bombers especially. They either crash or take themselves out with their own bombs.

Atleast it doesnt damage their ego and they feel like they got the last laugh. Its not weird if you look at it through the mindset of a 12 year old

I mean, if you are being thrown an aim 9L at short range on a flairless plane, your only option is to doing an extreme maneuver that can very much result in a crash
