They are also designed to defend themselves against ground vehicles, that’s why cannon armed SPAAG have the AP and SAP rounds in the first place - and in some cases dedicated secondary feeds with APDS.
Tiger cupola was never needed. The highest BR 75mm standard Sherman is 4.0.
The lowest BR Tiger is 5.7.
Stop exploiting game flaws and get good instead.
Because everyone isn’t talking about 75mm Jumbo, right.
The only reason why Jumbo 75 is at 5.7 is because of how APHE works.
It would not affect these SPAA’s whatsoever
Once again, 6,75 API-T rounds per second per barrel (Applicable for every vehicle using the 35 mm Oerlikon KDA)
So one round not nuking the entire crew instantly doesnt mean the other >5,75 API-T rounds you fired within that same second won’t do so either.
From the Hit Analysis-Test in the “Dance Of Dragons” Dev-Server:
(yes, the proposed/reworked APHE characteristics were applied here)

I raise you this:
Man, T95 is essentially useless against dakkadakka spammers. All that armour and a silly delete me button cupola. I had a funny game tonight where 2 KTs were just dinging off it and I just stroll on up in the 341 and delete it instantly from the front. I’ll clip it when I get time. Here’s one from a few days back:
Anyway, I voted No. I just have too much fun in them.
The Jumbo suffers from BR 2.7’s compression.
It’s an exception to the rule, and people just shouldn’t use it.
The reason Jumbo is 5.7 is because of its armor.
The problem with that is killing air targets is far easier, infact it’s too easy. That leads to there being practically no plane at 8.3
Of course not as this armor is nothing special and can be destroyed without much issue by lower B.R. vehicles.
181mm of armor at 5.7:
It’s literally the most armored tank at 5.7, that’s why it was put up to 5.7.
The APHE exploit was never the reason, especially because I was playing it when it moved up.
The 2nd best armored tank is the ARL-44, which is 106 on turret, and 230 on hull.
Should I really open up the game and show You the list of vehicles that can destroy it frontally from 5.7 to even lower B.Rs?
It’s all tank destroyers.
T-34-85, M4 76, Panther, Tiger, etc cannot reliably penetrate it.
Let alone the vehicles at 4.3 - 5.0 that just flat out cannot deal with it.
Of course they can pen it without much of an issue if You are not a monkey.
Of course they can.
So again, should I open up the game or are You going to stop pretending?
This checks out as a response from you. You have never given me the impression you care about the game or anybody elses’ experience than your own.
I don’t know how reliable is hit analysis. I had an argument with a guy few months ago. I was complaining about the fact that my shells didn’t pen his tank. He talked about skill issue because “you were trying to pen the frontal plate of my tank, but your shell can’t do that”, whilst according to hit analysis not only it should be possible, it was also possible with such shell to destroy some modules and kill some crew members.
The issue is, the vehicles that can penetrate it often can’t be penetrated by it. T-34-85, for example has 90mm turret which becomes unpennable with a lil angling. This means that all I have to do to beat a jumbo is angle, wait for him to nonpen me, then I can take my sweet time lining up a shot on his gunport.
Tiger E is a similar story.
yea but like i said its a mix of game where I did nothing or getting a nuke
I dont blame you, I am also abusing these SPAA
Jumbo armor is great bro, it’s an amazing brawler tank. Yes there is few tank that can pen it but they are rare-ish
From what I heard, hit analysis is not that reliable. It’s only around 80% accurate because in real match they use a different penetration calculator and server ping also effect it. Again, this is what I heard and from my experience, this seems to be true.
