So we will get ANOTHER russian spaa?

My main reason for questioning that would be: Why would you want to risk setting off the helis RWR to let them know a missile is coming, its much better to not have them know until its too late

min range on such missiles is a few KM. they take a while to get on your crosshair properly. makes the guns on a pantsir quite valuable when the player remembers that they exist.

worst thing is that the new pantsir is going to have better radar tracking and missiles that do up to 40KM (those missiles are undocumented other than a propaganda websits as far as ive found by the way)

Or if magical laser DIRCM would work as in real life which means not affecting gen 5 IR seekers such as the ones found on 9Xs, Python 5s, IRIS-Ts; some of which even have home on jam capability, NATO spaa would actually be able to perform.

However Gaijin, in their infinite copium consumption, has deemed that unfair and therefor the magical Mi-28 DLIRCM can block 7 missiles simlutaneously with just 2 lasers. It’s just russian magic, like the russian magical belts that only explode partially or the magical russian shrapnel absorbing autoloaders or the magical KH-38s that totally exist and are not just mockups.

But russia is magic, therefore no dice. Nato vehicles will get further artifical nerfs (no 829A4 equivalent sheels to deal with heavy era, no historially accurate Brimstones, Mavericks that don’t overpressure despite having 60kg heat war heads, etc ad absurdum.

The biggest joke is that they are physically the same.

Like russia just managed to get the fuel 2 orders of magnitude more powerful to make the missile 150% faster and have double the range??

I hope they add the kinetic one with 40km range so that means they finally have to buff the star streak

far less explosives on board in fairness. less weight goes a long way for accelleration. however that kills momentum so your speed dropoff is going to be much higher once the motor burns out.

Also doubt the G pull gaijin is claiming, the control surfaces on pantsir missiles are tiny

I mean yeah that’s the whole problem, there’s no countermeasure for SACLOS aside from Electronic Warfare measures, so when you combine that with the Pantsir’s multi-launch capability and range you get the best anti air in game. Meanwhile everyone else has to cope with ARHs being useless against Helicopters and easily notched/multipath’d by Jets.

Let’s be real bro, this won’t be the case for the pantsir-sm

I’m just genuinely never going higher than 11.3 after this update, or at least never using the typhoon in ground again

at top tier i still take the stormer AD over the skysabre because of the impracticality of NATO sam systems of top tier. They may have more range than the old pantsir but miss their target more often than hit.

Stinger missiles with a non functional IRCCM and a 25mm rotary canon is more practical than CAMM will ever be unless they fix Mpath and notching gates

i refuse to go above 8.7 most the time now that the 9.0 britain lineup was put up due to major skill issue by major nation scrubs.

I like a lot of the vehicles i have at top tier, the game is just too unfair with all the overhyped russian crud all over the place. Russia hasnt been capable of matching NATO tech for 50 years and its ok if a nations top tier ends before top tier if things realistically cant make it there. Fake buffs and kneecapping of others isnt the way to do it

the apache guardian dircm works the same as on the mi28

I believe the double standard we have in game is that, any non-Russian team is expected to have both SACLOS/BR units to take down helicopters and ARH/IR units to take down jet fighters and strike aircraft along with missile/bomb volley spam. But Russia doesn’t need to do this because the Pantsir can already do everything and this AA will be the same but even better.

so why did us get the nasams if its the same as the claws but better

its the same argument u use

usa got nasams because Sweden got nasams.
Sweden got nasams because the elde is and was useless

20km is against drones heading toward them.
18km is against a static target.

Also Pantsir can’t frag the meta CAS platforms.

This is because it wouldn’t make sense that the nation that generally produces subpar high-tech equipment suddenly produces the best DLIRCM.

My man over here trying his best to come up with the most insane takes.

The Pantsir is arguably the best SAM system against DLIRM helis and is still extremely potent against jets.

@Grossaaaa
Telling us you can’t out maneuver Pantsirs with even F-16s when I and thousands of others have done so with inferior jets isn’t good for your argument.

We’re not in english class, you don’t havbe to make stuff up for an assignment.

I’ve never said that I can’t dodge missiles. I have said that the Pantsir is the best SAM against DLIRCM helis and that it’s still extremely good against jets.

But keep living in your dreamland. Remember when you said that we don’t need 14.3 for jets? Or 14.0? Or 13.7? Or that the Mig-29 is never going to get R73s? Or that the Mig-29 is better than the Mirage 2000 in a dogfight?

You have consistently wrong takes. Maybe stop typing for once and use that brain of yours.

@Grossaaaa
The correct question is: “Alvis, do you remember when you said we needed 14.7 for jets? 15.0?”
“Do you remember when you said the 12.7 Mig-29s won’t have R-73s?”
“Alvis, do you remember when you said Mirage 2000 can beat a Mig-29 in a dogfight?”

Cause the Mirage 2000 is better than the Mig-29; we need BR 15.0; and the 12.7 Mig-29s still have R-60Ms.

And it turns out all those things are still true.

Weird that claim those basic good takes are wrong.
You can 1v1 me in your Mig-29 and I’ll prove to you that Mirage 2000 is better like I have to countless others.
