So how am I supposed to do anything with the B52?

Those need to be punished cause even in real life they would be punished. However, there is a difference between the blind and mute who do not care and the blind and mute who do not have the tools to do what I do.

But what still doesn’t change is that Tankers have every opportunity to get out of the way.
Planes have 1 shot to drop, and if you don’t move, then that is your fault. Not theirs.

as it was said to you once already in the past 24 hours:

he would clap you into next week.

to be fair with how his stats look, its entirely plausible he drives tanks around with eyes glued to the sky instead of ground where other tanks are.

Well, here we have an impasse that we’ll most likely not succeed to ever overcome: TK is preventable by the shooter, always, and its prevention thus the responsibility of the shooter.

That the Blue may still end up in harm’s way (even if it’s because of his own neglect, incapability or stupidity…) is something one as the shooter has to take into account at all times, and if such a situation actually presents itself: Don’t shoot!

(Note: this doesn’t really have to be discussed here - there’s the TK thread for that - but that’s also actually the common rule in WT)

One thing to keep in mind is the fact that a lot of players play with chat off or ignore it (at least in my experience) so trying to warn them is out of the question

Really the most fun thing to do is see how many players can fit on your wings lol

It’s difficult to tell if said shooter will be stupid.
Aside from that, if you don’t shoot, there is a high possibility of not having a 2nd chance of being able to “Shoot” cause that battle ranking is known as Missile Thunder for a reason.

Unfortunately, I wish it weren’t something you couldn’t turn off. Cause it enables incompetence.

Especially in lower BR, players just all do their own thing, and it makes it almost impossible to launch a coordinated attack, defend a point or anything else, and the battle goes sideways quickly.

In my opinion the best way to use the B-52 to progress is to get base bombing in Air SB. If you avoid enemies, it’s easy RP

Tell me, as a tank.
How will you leave said effective range of a bomber designed to carpet bomb the entire map?

How will you be able to look up at said bomber, and know exactly where and when their bombs will land?
I’d love to know what kind of magic bs you got hidden in your sleeves that can tell you this

Ah yes, comumunication is something that neither the players are consistent with, nor is it provided for enough by the devs, I find.

Problem is that we have players with so many possibilities together: For a pc player, typing a quick chat message is very simple, a console player without keyboard has to make do with (very limited) prefabricated radio messages. For VR players similarly, we’re restricted to the radio messages, or have to try to shift the headset a bit up and squint out to try to type, etc.

And of course many simply don’t care enough about communicating.

also strong words for someone who doesn’t have b52

The problem is a lack of pre-fab messages.

Not the effective range, but where the bombs will drop. Effective range doesn’t really exist in GRB.
Also read what I wrote before.
Cause it’s not a matter of knowing; it’s a matter of having an educated guess and being able to guess the likely chance, cause a B-52 or Tu-95 cannot turn well cause they are massive.

So those bombs are most likely going to drop in a straight line. This is basic common sense.
So very simple->you press C, hold it, look up for a second, and swivel to the right or left.

So tell me, how are you going to know where and when the bomber is dropping their bombs from 4+km up

Oh, I don’t know the blue name tag? Is that over your teammates?

So, where are his bombs dropping.
Can you see where they will land?
Can you see the bombs dropping?

The answer is no.
You have no good way to know where and when the bomber will drop.
Just that it’s somewhere on the map

Once again- learn what an educational guess is. If you are incapable of doing so and you clearly cannot seem to just read previous messages i have no reason to continue this back and forth.

So, the answer is no.
You can’t tell where and when the bomber will drop his bombs.
Meaning you cannot effectively leave their effective area of damage
