I have serious issues with Wyvern not be able to turn, like not turning at all, as soon as I make a pass, everybody will get behind me and the only way I could live is to fly straight lol maybe fly towards to allies so they could save my sorry ass, as someone who main tanks, flying is a whole different ball game. Even in ground battle I have to fly towards ally SPAAs hoping that they could get rid of my tail, else I’m 100% doomed lol

Also I find guns located in the wings is rather tricky to master, I have had better luck using the one located in the nose.

The problem with Wyvern is, you miss one pass, you have to reconsider your life’s choices. It’s weird to aim, sometimes you land insane shots, then you miss everything vs seemingly easy target.

Basically early game you either head-on good climbers, or avoid them altogether and then slash through the battlefield when people are engaging.
It’s super good as a support fighter. My problem is surviving to that point, because I’m super bad at head-ons :P

Edit: There’s nothing wrong with flying straight and baitingnyour enemy below your teammates. I absolutely love people who deliver a target a bit to the side and 1-1,8km below.

I do manage to get rid of ass sniffers by flying low then dropping bombs with 1 second fuze lol

Thinking of it, I don’t think I have ever equippped bombs, but I don’t play Ground RB anyway, and since I only need SL for gambling boxes (got F5A, some kind if Mig-23 and M8 LAC that I can actually sell, so I think it’s worth it) I just don’t grind nowadays.

Germany has no properly OP prop planes nowadays. He-100 is theoretically extremely good, but gameplay is just tedious.
Playing Germany, in general, you get the worst/hardest to aim guns, least maneuvrability and usually overheating that is impossible to manage long term without constant micromanaging prop pitch and being constantly threatened with overreving.

I can still enjoy Bf 109 F1 and F2 and Fw 190 A1 at low tier, Bf 109 G6, Fw 190 F8 and D9 at mid and Ta-152H at higher BR. But all of these have some serious shortcomings, be it performance, armanent or matchmaking. And out of these, you can mostly out-dogfight US planes, Wyverns and I-185 (mostly, because in Ta-152H I managed to win vs Yak-3U, so it’s doable). Yeah v. good players succesfully dogfight Yak-3 in Bf 109 F4 etc. I can’t.
