Simulator 12.7 - 13.0 Br bracket and 13.3 - 14.0+ br rating

Why not? You could have f15a and su27 (that only have fox1) at 13.0 and put everything with bad fox3 or good fox3 but bad performance at 13.3
So you could have the old “apex predator” top tier at 12.7, the old “air superiority” top tier at 13.0 and then have another rotation where 13.3 is top tier where you can place stuff like kfir c10, f14, harrier, viggen, f4 ice and stuff like that.
In my opinion it s nothing too dificult to do and nothing really out of the ordinary. The game WAS like that in the past, and it would do wonders to the gameplay too, because playing in a fox1 only environment is completely different from playing in a fox3 environment. Different skillsets and tactics are involved, and that’s why i would like them separated.

For me, other than balanced, it would be fun, and I’d love to see this kind of rotation.

I can already evade the Phoenix lol. It has nothing to do with my ability as a player. This post is about the overall effect of the 12.0 - 12.7 br bracket on the Simulator community. Most players don’t participate in this Br bracket so I typically can’t find games to use my Tomcat in. I was motivated to make this post because I actually like flying the tomcat but there are rarely games available at the Br bracket. Does that make any sense to you?

The only country that wouldn’t have a viable answer to this tier bracket would be the British tech tree. They could be given a Indian SU27.

Fu-huck no

You are right the majority of sim players are not competitive. So they are choosing the path of least resistance which is to not play 12.0 - 12.7.

Why not?

Or they can just leave the Sea Harrier FA2 and maybe even the Tornado F3 Late at BRs where they arent DOA. But if the Sea Harrier FA2 must be 13.3 “because it has fox-3s” then so should the F-14s

Last time I played that bracket, and its not often because Britain has rather poor aircraft for that bracket. There were plenty of Mig-29s in the 12.7 bracket and even more F4F-ICE and Viggen DIs in the 13.0 bracket.

Actually, I rarely saw any F-14s, most of our team was in the AV-8B(NA) and A-10C with the odd F-16.

For starters, the MiG-29A/S, Mirage 2000, and F-4EJ Kai are more than capable of filling any perceived red side deficiency when 12.7 is top.

Because they are playing other brackets available on those days? Crazy concept.

11.7 top br means most of red sides premiums get to be used.

For your other point, no the UK cannot get an Indian Su-27 because:

1.) they do not use the Su-27, dumbass. They use the Su-30MKI, which would be 13.7 or 14.0 if added.

2.) why in the great fiddly-fuck should the UK have a flanker in the tree.

Yeah, its this.

When 11.7-12.7 is active, most redfor will be in the 10.3-11.3 bracket in the Mig-23ML just farming kills Or the Tornado WTD61 farming bases

When its 12.0-13.0 / 12.0-12.7, they will likely be in the 10.7-11.7 / 11.0-11.7 bracket still farming kills in the Mig-23 and likely with a fair few Su-39s as well.

Its not that Redfor are at a disadvantage, if anything both 12.7 and 13.0 are redfor advantage brackets given the Mig-29+R-27ER combo at 12.7 and ICE+AMRAAM at 13.0. but because they are using premiums at the bracket below. Especially as most Bluefor premiums are 12.0-12.7 (F-4S, F4J(UK),F-20, etc) so I quite often see people playing 12.0s agaisnt 12.7s in that bracket.

The only time that bracket is likely active is when its 11.0-12.0 and Bluefor has the advantage (F-4S, Tornado F3, etc) , so redfor will most often then play the 12.3-13.0 bracket.

Brit here, Please no soviet C&Ps. If they want to add more Indian aircraft, then add the native built stuff or the British export stuff. Really no need for Soviet stuff just to bodge a tree that doesnt need bodging if they modeled what we already have (let alone whats missing) correctly.

They indeed are not fine as it is…
12.3 and 13.3 aircrafts don’t have their own bracket, plus there are a lot of vehicles that are either undertiered ( cough cough A10C) or overtiered.

Stuff like the Su27/J11, Tornado F3, 29Smt… are stuck at 13.3 constantly fighting against 13.7s and 14.0, because they dont have their own bracket.

Actually, just had a further thought on this.

There isnt a single Redfor premium at or above 12.0

Soviets, None
Germany, None
China, None
Japan, None
Italy, None.

Even the “floaters”

France, None
Sweden is the only one with a Premium and its 13.0 and appears to be fairly common.

If you want more people playing 12.3/12.7/13.0. Add more premiums to redfor

at the moment only the US and UK have premiums within that bracket.

I don’t identify the tomcat as that much of a problem. I think that the F14 B is at the right tier. It just needs more competitors. I think that Phoenixes would be a great introduction to fully active missiles at a forgiving Br. The tomcat isn’t immortal, it’s just ruining a low tier bracket with no competition. When it is at 13.0 it is kind of held back by the F15(Japan), JAS 39A and F16(Japan).

The Tomcat isn’t that oppressive.

Just evade the phoenix. It’s a very remedial missile.

Yes the A10C should definitely be a 12.3 or higher attacker. Along with any variation of the Harrier II.

Morvran you made a good point by suggesting the 12.3 -12.7 br bracket. That’s a step in the right direction. It would be nice if the Mirage 2000 S4/S5 were at 12.7 just to compress it down to 12.7 - 13.0.

Where did I suggest that?

I didnt.

What we need is a 11.3-12.3 bracket and a 12.3-13.3 bracket

We really dont need another bracket where 12.3s are screwed out of a bracket.

No?

Harrier Gr7 should be 12.0 or 12.3 with an actual 12.3 bracket.

AV-8B+ is fine at 13.0

AV-8B(NA) is fine at 11.7.

All Harriers (1 or 2s) in game are underperforming like crazy right now.

A-10C is MAX 12.0, but would be DOA above that.

Britain could receive the Mirage 2000 H and the MiG 29 UPG from India.
