You talk about the F18A as if it were the only 12.3 plane in the game and as if it were the best balanced plane (it should at least be in 12.7). But can I also remind you that in 12.3 there is also the Mirage 2000D R1, the Tonado Gr4, the F4EJ KAI, and the JH-7A which cannot necessarily face 13.0
Lets just model 5th gen flight models on how they make us feel. I feel the f22 can sustain 380 knots at 30 AOA and not bleed speed. The pilot should be able to sustain 10 g because it has a “new” g suite and the pilot should be able to fire 9x at the same time. There isnt available/reliable information on these planes
So I don’t know if you have any sources but everything that the planes currently do in the game doesn’t come out of nowhere, there have been bug reports with sources to prove that the planes have these capabilities
So what? It’s good you know how to play, you may be very good with this plane, but that’s not necessarily the case for everyone, it’s not because you may be better than the others that you should prevent players of certain planes from having fun.
I’m not asking for them to have dogfighter models, I’m just asking that from time to time you can play them without being afraid of getting hit by an AIM-120 after takeoff. Have you recently played a Tornado Gr4 or a Mirage 2000D R1 in sim against 13.0s? Because the experience is really not pleasant.
So multiple ground attack aircraft should be far harder to play because… ?
Mirage 2000D, Mirage 2000 RMV, Tornado Gr4 and Harrier Gr7 and that just 4 examples of ground attack aircraft that are very hard to play in ASB at the moment because of their BR. That could probably be easily expanded to other nations too (Now the RMV is 12.7, so a 12.3 wouldnt directly benefit them, but I do think they are over BRed at the moment)
Also. 12.0 ground attackers and fighter only get a single BR where they arent massively uptiered, when they should be reasonably viable in a 11.3-12.3 bracket which would double their rotations per week
What I mean is that with the bracket proposal I made above, there will necessarily be a time when the Br of the aircraft you want to play will be the highest in a bracket and a time when it won’t (with the exception of the 14.0, which is necessarily the highest Br). This allows all aircraft in the game to have at least one moment during the bracket rotation where they are in a less disadvantageous position.
For the RMV I have to say that its current Br is probably correct, the HMD makes it really very powerful and if you know how to use it well the plane is really complicated to tackle.
The HMD is the same as the A-10 and Rafale, so even if you technically don’t have a radar to identify allies from enemies your HMD tells you. For the Radar the Anemone is an air-to-ground radar with just an ACM mode for air-to-air (it should have a TWS mode with a 10NM range according to some sources) so for the moment it’s not worth much more than the Tornado radar
Ah, if you can IFF people then that isnt too bad. Thats my main issue with the Gr7 and Gr4. VID is a chore, especially when everyone is in the same aircraft
Yes, with the HMD that shows you the allies of the enemies and the fact that you can slave the Magic 2 it makes it in my opinion one of the best planes. The only problem being the cannon
