Simulator 12.7 - 13.0 Br bracket and 13.3 - 14.0+ br rating

What 10.3 stands any chance against a mig23?

Heck, I can think of several 11.3s that can barely fight mig23

That’s exactly the principle, in the Br 11.3 - 12.3 the F5 would not be able to compete with the planes in 12.3, just as in 11.0 - 12.0 a Mirage 3E cannot compete with a Tornado F3 or that in 9.3 - 10.3 an F3H cannot compete with a Mig-21

8.3 - 9.3 is broken because of the areiti mig 19, mig 17, certain 1970s aircraft being placed down at 9.7 doesn’t help either especially while give them missles from th 70s. There are greater issues with the game than the br brackets.

If thats the case then make a useful br for the f5. A br that challenges the player while also giving them a chance at enjoyable game play. The f5 biggest weakness is its armament most planes can separate from the fight and high energy due to speed. It doesnt have irccm so they escape free of charge. I think it personantly facing the jas37, mig 23 and mirage f1c is a fun fight. I make my money either way.

And yet these planes are not as strong when the Br is at their disadvantage, you need something for everyone, you cannot leave part of the planes in a position that makes them unplayable.

On the other hand, with a rotation, if I take the example of the F5 that you used above, we would have for example 10.3 - 11.3, which would make the F5 one of the best planes, then 10.7 - 11.7, which leaves the plane in a position of strength, then 11.0 - 12.0 which puts the plane in a position of weakness and finally 11.3 - 12.3 which would put the plane in a position of difficulty. There’s something for every level, from the absolute beginner to the expert who wants to take on much stronger planes.

The F5 would therefore be in an advantageous position 50% of the time and playable 75% of the time, and this by making planes in 12.3 playable 50% of the time whereas before it was only 25%.

At 10.3 the f8, at 10.7 the f5A/C

The rotations make certain planes from 11.3 -12.0 completely useless. Why would i use a quadrant based russian rwr against a phoenix Aim 54?

You could still have rotations below 12.3. With permanent brackets above 12.0. Interchange 11.0 -12.0 with 11.3 - 12.0.

The f5 still isnt a game breakinf plane at the top of 11.3. The mig 23 ml can still handel them and if it cant then just run and missle sling.

Why would I currently use a Mirage IIIE against a Tornado F3, why would I use a late Tornado F3 against a Rafale? It’s a question of compromise as it already is currently, obviously some planes will be less pleasant or even difficult to play.

What brackets would you suggest so that ALL planes above the Br can be playable ?

I used the F5 as an example, you can use the same reasoning for all the Brs

Mirage iii good acceleration, rwr, counter measures instantaneous turn of a delta wing. Its a plane that i want to grind out to see why people under perform in it.

I previously said that the problem of 14.0 is imaginary flight models that severely outperform their gen 4 counterparts. I also referenced over performing missles. There is no point of fighting a 18 g capable Rafael with look and shoot mica EM and magic ii. It pull so much AOA it doesnt even show up on the gauge. For that matter why should i fight the Rafael in anything? It has answer to every plane in the game and has a 360 degree mas. It is the victory plane you just win or you need to get better.

For that argument why should i fight Rafael in the f15c?

The problem is that the acceleration is not that good, in dogfight beyond 5 turns you are dead unless you play a little with fire

On the other hand, you didn’t answer my question: if you want permanent brackets beyond 12.0, what would they be? And how would you make all the planes in them playable?

Their what?

You do know that aircraft like the Typhoon are actually underperforming across the board right?

Again? What?

Most IR Missiles are underperforming quite a bit and late SARH and ARH missiles can be counted in that too.

So why force 13.0s and 13.3s to fight them with “permamanet brackets”

Oh thank you for asking 12.3 vs 13.0. And 13.3 vs 14.0.

Adjusr the flight model, armament or pull the plane.

So the 12.3s are never advantageous and the 13.3s are just unplayable. So you force a dozen planes to never be able to be in a position in which they can be exploited.

I can show you a game where ahandfulofbeans and i made 70 kills between the both of us on dover straight in the f18A and F16A fighting 13.0.

Technically, the Rafale also underperforms in certain areas, but here we are reaching the limits of the game in terms of modeling the flight model.

For IR missiles having them with their actual performance (for some) will probably never be fixed as it would make balancing some aircraft atrocious.

You talk about the F18A as if it were the only 12.3 plane in the game and as if it were the best balanced plane (it should at least be in 12.7). But can I also remind you that in 12.3 there is also the Mirage 2000D R1, the Tonado Gr4, the F4EJ KAI, and the JH-7A which cannot necessarily face 13.0
