Sick of being told about passive behaviour

Your entire post looks like it was written or at least drafted by such a person.

I am not sure if you have even noticed that you contradict yourself multiple times and that this thread deals with Air RB which is obviously not your main mode.

  1. You claim that your last enemy wastes time - but you refuse to leave as you would lose by tickets.
  2. That means that your criticised “passive” player works with an advantage created by him and/or his team - and the pressure to do something is on you, not on him.
  3. Trading a clear win vs a potential kill (like described enemy being in a better plane) works with the assumption that you would be in a pure 1 vs 1. The whole thread deals with 1 vs many / all.
  4. Getting you as a free kill is plain stupid if the enemy puts himself in a disadvantageous position vs your other team mates - the win bonus is higher than a kill minus repair cost, at least on average.
  5. If you are annoyed by airfield aaa: Fly a bomber like the Bv 238 - two low and slow passes in a drive-by shooting style kills every aaa position and you get just a slightly yellow plane - so you have tools.

These were just a few examples why your views are based on flawed assumptions (at best) or based on your understanding how others should play.

The two key expressions here are “votekick system” and “free wins”.

Alone the idea of a votekick system is insane.

Number disparities or ticket disadvantages are the result of the MM and actions of the involved players. If your team consists of Ground RB players strapping on max payload to their fighters they will (often) create a serious ticket advantage by playing PvE whilst their positioning makes them easy prey for enemy PvP players.

This has nothing to do with skill - and when 6 guys in A6Ms will try to catch a P-47 they will lose by tickets - based on their own inability to attack the right targets at the right point in time. Allowing those 6 Zeros to votekick the P-47 would reward them with a free win despite they made the wrong decisions.

Time to ask yourself if you play the right game mode…

“uuugh, why are you being passive?! let me kill you for free!”

It’s a tragedy that more than half of the playerbase doesn’t actually want to play this game

i want to play the game, not sit in matchmaker or with a crew lock.

well yea, in a one life deathmatch mode if you cant kill the last guy, they win. doesnt matter if they are sportsman or not.

it usually is 1v1. in the rare instance of a few left on one team its still one on one interactions most the time.

sometimes theres not enough AI targets to overtake on tickets because the maps dont have enough of them. el alemein for example is really bad for it

“just play a bomber bro” sorry i wanted to play a mustang or something bro.

If NE extended below 8.7 id be playing it exclusively, however it doesnt so im stuck with base bombing zombies and passive pansie players whenever i want to fly a prop or trainer jet still.

I dont want to spade planes in GRB as cas is generally an overpowered thing across the whole game, but that is the only low-mid tier option if i dont wish to see such people

If the last guy is not in a fighter and is say climbing to orbit, you really should go land, load ordinance and appropriate belts, and go melt ground targets where possible.

If the last guy is a fighter and just aggressively humping his/her base AAA, well there ain’t much you can do currently unless Snail decides to butcher Airfield AAA potency (which they very much should).

Most maps have significant numbers of soft ground targets as well as AI-controlled planes. Killing all of those should generally put you in the lead with tickets unless the opposing team melted a huge fraction of the tickets earlier in the round.

There is no crew lock after 8 minutes - so even on classic curbstomping maps at prop BRs (like Fronline Mozdok) you won’t get one if your rtb, land and leave. Your “sit in the MM” point makes no sense and is no valid point.

This makes no sense too - if wt prop Air RB would be a TDM mode there would be no tickets. If you and/or your team made wrong decisions loses by tickets vs a single player you simply focused too much on the PvP part and forgot to keep an eye on the PvE par of the match.

Sportsmanship is connected to fairness, respect and knowledge about the game/sports you play. Handing over a win just because you play 1 vs all has nothing to do with those topics.

So when it would be “usually” a 1 vs 1 most of the time then your other remaining mates try to close the ticket gap - vulturing above the enemy airfield or with a severe alt advantage vs the last player does not help in this case.

This is a knowledge issue - maps like Tunisia or Sicily have asymmetric layouts and other ticket mechanics. 2,000 tickets behind are on such maps not 20 targets - 8 pilboxes or tanks equalizes this gap.

At least currently you (and everybody else) have to find workaround for that - but this is a completely different topic.

From my pov you should accept that everybody has a free choice how he plays and what vehicle he chooses. I am with you that it is ultra annoying being able to turn a 1 vs 4-5 into a 1 vs 1 - and then lose by tickets, but that’s life.

That these tickets defeats after 25 minutes went through the roof since the bomber damage update is true - but this is just based on the fact that they are incredibly hard to kill and usually they play the opposite of passive. I lost at least a dozen matches playing 1 vs 1 in a fighter vs a bomber (as last guys alive) just because they are able to put fires out and you need a hell of time for a perfect setup of your attack.
