Sick of being told about passive behaviour

I didn’t ignore you, you’re actually talking about wishie, not me. Why would they ignore you? You’re on their side of this.

That’s who you were referring to… Read more.

Because he’s a drama llama…

I misunderstood because you replied to me, but why would they ignore someone on their side? This got so weird so fast.

It does when people have people on ignore then act like they don’t know where the ‘view hidden post’ button is…

I do understsnd, but that is my thoughts on the subject but i dont go enforcing the law as i see fit.

If i am in a game and the last enemy is af camping i will ask them to land and j out. I dont go giving them abuse as that is against the TOS

I land and J out if I am the last one so I don’t pay repair costs and the game ends. I never circle the airfield because it delays the game, accomplishes nothing for anyone, and isn’t a fair tactic. My opinion is shared by many people, as it is an actual waste of time when people do so. Especially when rewards are tied to time played and you get less if you leave early. People that circle the airfield are simply afraid of dying, not using a tactic, just afraid of dying. Asking them to land almost never works, I have tried many times. If airfield AA was avoidable, like missile SPAA in top tier, then this wouldn’t be an issue, but at low tiers the gun SPAA will kill you before you can get i to range.

I got him on block, nothing for you to worry about,

Im against it, i have suggested things like make the forward af a capture af that when captured turns AAA off at main af.
My argument is that other players should not try and inforce rules of the game and be abusive about it and that it is not against the TOS to do so.

I dont like AF camping

The TOS has verbage that applies to airfield camping. It isn’t ever going to have specific verbage because the document would be incredibly long to cover every possible situation. The TOS is also legally binding, so they want to keep the document short and precise enough to cover the majority of game rules. It is, like all TOS, up to a bit of interpretation. It seems Gaijin is on the side that players can report people for “passive behavior”. If they take action, that is on them. It is the same for verbal abuse or teamkilling. Defining verbal abuse is up for interpretation because people get offended differently. Defining tramkilling is up for interpretation because you can shoot an allied plane without downing them and an enemy can kill them without you getting any action against you because you didn’t kill them, but caused major damage that resulted in their death. These things are in a huge grey area. Gaijin ultimately decides what to do about any reports they recieve, including passive behavior.

It isn’t right for people to verbally abuse others, but it isn’t right for people to waste other peoples time for no reason. Rewards are tied to in game time, and staying in an area that makes you unkillable is prolonging the game for no reason. This doesn’t happen in top tier because of the missile SPAA. The missiles are avoidable, which means you can be killed on or around the airfield. In low tier you cannot make a kill on a player circling or landing at the airfield. The guns WILL kill you once you enter a certain range, unavoidable. I would be willing to create a custom game when schedules permit to prove this. Low tier planes cannot get into range to kill the final enemy if they refuse to leave the airfield. That is the unfair part. You are invulnerable to enemies because you will not leave that area. In top tier, you aren’t invulnerable in that area. Missiles can lock on to and kill circling players, and the missile defences can be avoided to enter gun range. Low tier doesn’t have the range with guns to finish the game. That is why people get so angry when this happens. The act of airfield circling is, by definition, being passive. It benefits noone, and is abusing the AA protection.

Adding extra steps like capturing the forward airfield just prolongs the game even more. There is a point where the time wasted is detrimental to all players, and players don’t like to have their time wasted in games. That is probably why “passive behavior” is even reportable, because noone wants to have their time wasted by greedy people.

Some airfields you can fly under the Aaa and kill planes. There is no need to explain things to me, i know more than you think i do, and i may have forgotten more about flying than you may ever know

You can fly under it, but as soon as you go above the ground cover (valley, mountain) the AA will kill you. So you cannot make the game ending kill. If the guns can fire at you within a certain distance, they will ALWAYS kill you.

I don’t know what you know, but this conversation has driven me to believe that you aren’t as knowledgeable as you think. I say that without any malace. You on the other hand, seem to think belittling people who disagree with you is fine. You have said on multiple occasions that I am “just pushing my opinion on people”, which is a baseless claim.

Saying things like this, because you ignored another user and can’t see what they said, but still want to try to make this personal by accusing me of making things up, even though I quoted things, with a source. That is more than you’ve done in this post. Granted it wasn’t 100 percent up to APA format for quotes, but this isn’t a college paper. You can continue to act childish and try to be morally superior than me, but I don’t really care. If you had all this knowledge of flying that you say you do, you would have an understanding of why people dislike airfield camping.

You said yourself you weren’t trying to provide proof that it was or wasn’t against the rules, but you still want to argue that it isn’t against TOS. You are just contradicting yourself. Gaijin has a way to stop people from being abusive in game chat, it is the reporting system
The same one you want to hate because of the passive behavior reporting…

Im not even going to read that

Im not surprised you would say that.

I dont need to read a noval now fo with your assumptions

Again, not surprised you’d try to belittle me again.

Your the 1 belittling. Why do you feel you need to lecture me with your interpretations. Who do you think you are

If your writing a book forget it

I person that disagrees with you. I attempt to explain my point of view, with supporting information and sources and then you say I’m making things up. You have provided nothing useful to this conversation other than one line disagreements and attempts at belittling myself and Prophet1313 for trying to explain how the TOS works for this situation.

Your full of scutter. Now go and report someone for orbiting AF at 10k meters in z bomber and see what happens
