Should the enemy player tags be removeed in top tier Air RB or certain BR?

Depending on your radars only would make it more challenging and better. But I feel when the player tags are shown it makes the game end so fast and the players knows where he would find you instead of relaying on the radar.

I think they need to do a 2+ week event test for GRB style markers (no enemy only friendlies) at every BR and see what happens.

It would be really interesting to see what its actaully like all the way in a bi-plane all the way up to gen 4.5 jets. I think it would do a lot of good for the game health, especially ground attackers, but yes, increasing the dependency on people actually using sensors would be really interesting. I personally play a lot of ASB largely for this reason but it would be interesting to see how it translates over to ARB

It’ll never probably happen as the masses will whine they won’t be able to find anyone.

The current maker system for Air RB just sucks. At least in GRB you have to try and look around and determine where, who and what type they are.

This is honestly terrible ngl

How would blind hunt and avenger be handled?

To be honest, all those wager thingys could really do with an overhaul.

Most people tend to use Blind Hunt just to find the last guy. Now the map already highlights the grid square of the last guy, but Id just switch on markers for the last 5-10 minutes of the match. That way no one can just hide at the edge of map wasting time and tickets

Maybe it would make gaijin finally fix rendering when there’s clouds nearby if it would affect more than just GRB and ASB and GSB.

Clouds breaking black dot rendering. Watch my fuel amount. Literal seconds' difference.

NO

definitely not at all.

People already complain about Rafael’s and Su 30’s radars, as they provide a lot of situational awareness, now you want to create a situation where these radars will have more impact?

Besides the chaos that 16vs16 already is with the apparent tag, it will be even greater chaos without it.
The Air RB spot system is already flawed enough, sometimes the game doesn’t render or doesn’t show enemies within 7 km of you, making them invisible to you until the RWR or radar shows their presence, and when this happens it’s horrible, imagine if this was the game’s default? It would be terrible, definitely a terrible idea, if the game had half the players, it would be possible, but 16vs16 is unfeasible.

We talked about that several times.
After the firebirds update Nov 2024 the spotting system was broken for one day in ARB. You only saw markers inbetween your own 5km bubble. I played toptier at this time and this day was the best experience i ever had at toptier.

My idea was:
You see only markers in your 5km bubble. They only get triggered by you. On your hud radar (upper right corner) you can see every player spotted by you and your team.
Next feature I’m struggeling with myself. One idea is you can see the red dots of every spotted player by team members on minimap. Second idea, red dots on minimap only pop up if a team member did a short message like “attack target xy”. Third, if he message " I need help", you can see on minimap every enemy spotted by him as red dots.
Maybe 2 and 3 could be produce message spam…

Requirement for any changes on the spotting system is a working display of dots!
AND GJN has to lower the usage of bad weather conditions. Nowadays it seems every war was fought only in cloudy weather or at night.

If this feature would work correctly, there would be no need for “cheating” things like blind hunt.

Idk how much money GJN creates with these orders. But after they added this recycling system, i think it is not that much. I use them very rarely. Most of the time while playing squad, so my dead squad mates don’t have to wait so long. I still own over 300 blindhunt/avenger…

And GJN should find a way to get rid of these “fake players” ( I don’t know what these are, these
half grayed out players in the scoreboard without record)

They already have a mode for this called simulator.
Simulator is super easy to get into as well.

(You don’t even need HOTAS! Or TrackIR! These are my controls for whoever wants to give it a try with M+KB at propeller tiers: WT Live // Controls by RunaDacino Probably works for jets, but needs radar and missile bindings. Camera is WASD,1,3,RMB with X to recenter, elevator/aileron is mouse, rudder is q/e with 2 to re-center using relative axis.

Bf109F4 and P-51C are decent starter planes that cost nothing to respawn. Requiem (basic flight principles) and Wingaling (WTsim specific) have tutorials)

I use spacebar for mouse look activation.
I have my virtual joystick set to 95% of my screen height.

I never have to trim because I use virtual joystick instead of a HOTAS.

Good enough for all situations.

That would be almost like sim battles. I don’t they should remove markers in realistic. When you see them also depends on your crew level. Also, some top tier matches last 20 minutes, everybody rearms and nobody sees the enemy team, only on radar.

It will be nice and I would support this idea but can we also have a little of rewards boost?

Needing to use mouse look activation means you can’t maneuver though.

For trim, I find it vital even with virtual joystick. Flying an untrimmed 109 or spitfire is a nightmare.

Which for me is fine.
I’m not trying to be the best dogfighter in the west, and it trains my object permanence better than having constant visual.

I stand by my control scheme.

It enables fine control input while keeping my eye on my six, enabling energy traps and also dodging shots if the enemy does get nose on me.

The method isn’t original either. I stole it from Il2 after getting it and after a few weeks I cant imagine going back to using C+mouse look.

Dude, C for mouse look and space bar for bombs is diabolical.
Shift + C is my bombs, and space bar is my mouse look for a reason.

I dont do bombs. I fly fighters. Lately I strap bombs to my fighters if the tickets or boosters require it, but otherwise it’s irrelevant.

I maintain my control scheme’s viability.
