It’s honestly quite a fun and efficient grinder, and absolutely prints SL. I bought a warbonds test drive for it and went 12:30, and i’m far from a good player. it’s pretty ok at the 9.0 considering it can easily outpull 9B’s, is decently fast, and turns quite nicely. The lack of gun is annoying though.
I am glad I got the plane, and yes it does print SL! But that lack of gun is yes…Annoying, oh, if it had a gun…

LOL, I might just settle for the 4 x 30mm cannon and maybe 20 countermeasures. Its flight performance wonderful, and it is a fine looking plane. Ive flown it about 12 times or so, but I can say people definitely come looking for it.
Got a test drive for it, went from rank 2 to rank 5 of British TT in less than 24 hours. Either speaks to lower tier players being bots or me being good, and i think its the former

I missed your offer, yes, I would like to see some dogfights in it if you get around to it. It seems to suffer from uptiers and its current BR.
To be honest, I dont know whats up in any of my planes mate, it seems out of my last 50 battles Ive had about 40 uptiers and 40 crappy teams. I am “usually” one of three left against 8 or 9 enemy planes. I will tell you a great plane that always gets with crappy diarrhea teams, …F15a, man, 27% winning percentage in it, and its a great plane, can compete with 13.7s with good radar coupled with great radar, and a million countermeasures, speed, …etc, always me and a mate fighting 10 enemy planes 2 minutes after battle starts.
Some of your dogfights would be nice, anything on YouTube is a year old, and a lot has changed since then. Thank You

I played a couple matches. I guess my teammates decided that they actually wanted to help me today because I could hardly get any time in a 1v1.

Just use your insane climb rate to outrun people and use the redtops at 1.5km max (2km if you have good speed and altitude compared to target)

Thank You, I do appreciate that, I noticed at about a 20 degree angle, even in an uptier, not many of the planes deal with that well. One thing about the Red Tops, they have a wonderful lead circle and are pretty quick.

Yes, I see your speed only dropped below 800km/hr only one time after engaging the enemy, you used its climb rate very well, and did a pretty deft maneuver over the Hunter.
I dont have a lot of experience in it yet, but it seems to not compress very easily, and handles very well.
Also as a side note, I see when you landed you didnt bother with the landing gear, all Vets know that.
Well done mate, I am glad you took the time to send me that. YouTube vids are so old on it, and you know how much the game has changed just in the last six months. For instance when I started flying CL Mk 6 it was at 9.7, now its at 9.0 I believe.

I usually use free look and look behind while using the keyboard flight controls. And dont forget about air brake and flaps.
Ironically, i usually land the sea vixen on the gear but i was in a hurry.
I guess i do play the first pass rather aggressively in it. It is pretty easy to dodge headons so i feel safe to do it. But some jets will be able to turn around and catch up, like a mig19.
Mate Im going to fly my Sea Vixon a little later on, but right now Im flying props for first time in a while just for some “relaxiing” flying…But when I spent a little money over the holidays I picked up the Chinese P51C-11-NT. Mate that thing is a monster, whether its in a uptier or not. I really never liked P51s, Im a Me109 guy, but there is something about that plane, it maneuvers well, holds its speed like a Sabre.
I do not know if you have one, but its worth checking out.
Will probably fly Cannon Chaika as well, Me109 G2 trop, I love that thing, just havent flown props in a minute, in a mood to tonight.

Im chat banned…for about 9 more months. Bad thing is I was responding to some Trolls and Teamkillers, of which there seems to be more nowadays… and so I miss discussing planes. My chat ban started in a battle where I said “Good Luck”, and then stfu followed from two trolls…three days later, Year Long Chat Ban, but I understand it from the language I used LOL…Its funny when I first started in Beta, in chat you would see, “Play With Honor” a lot, now…thats lost.
Arent there all kinds of good planes in game?, …I see you crushed it in F8E. Im going to go with the 7.7 Meteor tonight at some point, 24sec turn time, good climb rate at 7.7…flying a little of everything tonight, from Chaika to F15c…
