I would like to suggest the Maultier mit 3,7 cm Flak 36 L/57. The names were both (interchangably) Sd.Kfz.3a (a for Opel, b Ford and c Magirus). Based on the Opel Blitz 3,6-36 S (S here Standart → R Raupenketten).
The History about the exact vehicle is unknown, however in general:
The reason why the Opel Maultier was made in the first place was because the Trucks hat problems in the snow and winter, so the Opel Blitz 3,6-36 S and DB L 4500 S were equipped with Pz II and Carden Loyd running gears to transform them to Halftracks. Duo to overall high demand on transport equipment they werent reserved for winter instead used full time as well.
The Half tracks of this type where very good in the cross country ability, however the top speed due to gearing and small sprocked size drastically fell as well as the fuel consumption and wear on hard roads and long marches went up high.
In game as a slower lower BR alternative to the Sd.Kfz.6/2 would this vehicle be an interesting addition as well as show the need of the german army to modify and build further more rudimental halftracks together with the high performance build ones, as they coundnt produce enought of the “premium” models. As well as arm as many vehicles as possible as they lost ever more air supiority.
And can be used together with the Sd.Kfz.3a / Opel Blitz 3,6-36 R Maultier mit 7,5 cm Pak 97/38 L/36
The Opel Maultier itself is in the unarmored form as the Sd.Kfz. 4/1 mit Panzerwerfer 42 already in game, tho it would come without armor (except the wood, sandbags and gunshield) but in return have much better mobility than the 4/1.
Compared to the Sd.Kfz.6/2 this would be slower, more sluggish and without any armor except the little gunner shield for the gunner. It could be placed at a lower br as an alternative to the 2 cm Flaks at 1.3 and 1.7 to exchange pure firepower and Fire rate.
