Russian Bias: Raw MBT access in the 9.7-10.3BR region

No CAS here obviously

So if we put a mach 4, IR agm with 300 kg of explosive it would be ok?

I’m not even addressing that. I’m addressing the look up to the sky part. Just shows that CAS has been dominant for so long that people forget how bad it was even before the Kh-38 was added. Kh-38 literally added nothing to the current CAS problem, because it already was a problem

Added nothing or make it worse?
Think about it, how many times have you survived to a direct hit with a maverick or how many times have you dodged a spike/pars and you didnt even noticed?

I ask again: if we put a mach 4, IR agm with 300 kg of explosive it would be ok?

Added nothing. Mavs can 1 shot-kill fine, especially since HEAT got an overpressure buff a while back. Spikes can maim you critically with a follow up shot killing you (guess which chopper has 16 spikes). Spikes even got an autopilot buff a while back that made it so it doesn’t just go for center mass

And in my last few matches the only CAS that spawned lost their team the match due to SP drain.

@AlvisWisla and @Anonymous4245 Try it, in that point the only AGM getting always a kill is the kh-38 (Hammers and mavericks sometimes)

have you tried turret roof? cause that’s a more realistic impact point believe it or not

“Try this uber specific pixel shot.” - Your post’s screenshots.
That is what’s called a logical fallacy, tho I forget which one.

That shot is not plausible as it’s outside the RNG circle the missile “sees”.

Yeah, similar results about getting more one hit kills (20 times tried with each one), you can try it.

I did, and even the spike ER can 1 shot cause overpressure

Yes, now ¿all the impacts where a one shot kill?

Yes

Now try in the pilot, motor or turret areas with all of those missiles and you will see what missile is more consistent.

No, missile goes to close to center mass as much as it can. Turret roof is literally a realistic impact point especially in a really high angle attack (like most CAS do)

No, it is not a logical fallacy, and you saying that there is a RANDOM number generation admits that it can be posible that hit.

Yeah, but there is a RNG that dictates where the missile is aiming aaaaand it doesn´t take on count the movement of the target or the exposed parts of it.

Yet most target CAS targets is stationary (cause it’s an easier target) Did you forget that mentioned people can’t be looking up at the sky all the time?

No, the RNG is an area in a pre-determined circle starting from the CENTER of the tank extending to the WIDTH of the tank. Which means it can never hit the rear of the engine compartment cause it’s either a low-LOS missile or a top-attack missile and in both situations the rear of the engine deck is not visible to the circle.

Ka52 is much faster than both the apache AND the eurocopter afaik

PARS is actually slow as hell and killing something like a pantsir requires about 3-4 launches if he’s sentient, and taking out tanks is extremely unreliable. I can’t comment on hellfires as i haven’t used them but i know they’re bad as well. meanwhile the vikhr is fast, can be used against aircraft and actually does damage. The PARS can be used effectively against aircraft, yes, but is outranged even in that aspect by mostly everything. You’d have to get close to actually hit them reliably. I would say that PARS and Vikhr are equal in terms of effectiveness against helicopters though, purely because of the FnF capability. Said FnF capability is also quite finicky when trying to lock tanks and keeping lock
