Stealth is not that useless.
Currently with how the F-117 is modelled it is capable avoiding Fox-3’s by dropping bombs at ≈5km
Im not saying it is, im just saying that i cant really see Gaijin making stealth fighters the superweapons some make them out to be.

Detection ranges for modern aircraft are extremely classified. Anyone giving out numbers and making statements on effectiveness is to be disregarded.
Iranian had some decently competent sam systems. Not new, not that old.

I know, im just saying that maybe the Iran kerfuffle might not be the best to accurately judge the interaction between the most modern radars we have in the game and stealth aircraft.

Yes and no.
Iran did not have the latest and best systems available - however they had the best part of 30-40 years to get their air defence net planned and ordered (including learning lessons from when Iraq’s was malleted in GW1 and GW2). They have also had significant tech exchanges with Russia in updating their S-300 and local variants; including investing in IR/EO systems. They are many things, but they are not stupid. See also what happens when they get to employ 30-40 years of prep in closing a certain waterway…
With all of that said - it didn’t take long for a fairly small force of F-35s (relative to the non-stealth stuff) to plot, map and blind most of the air defences across large swathes of the country. Losing a single F-15E and A-10 out of a total of 1000s of sorties is quite telling.
However you are correct - whatever circus we end up with War Thunder (for a circus it will be) will bear about as much similarity to real life as an episode of Whacky Races has to Formula 1…
I dunno - give them Spikes (or air-launched equivalents) and you’d drastically reduce their ability to decimate the opposing team…

Depends on the amount. AH-64E and Z-10ME are still doing very well statistically with 16x JAGM-MR and 8x Blue arrow respectively.

Not gonna lie mate, I’m getting extremely bored of losing most top tier games to BMPT spammers who then bounce into a damn MI28NM and just nukehalf the team, then most the time actually get a nuke lol.
Also dude shot my MG with heat and it completely overpressured my tank? makes no sense, at all.
Reckon the absurd SPAA is making it more profound, though the lmurs still gto the advantage.

But the new Pantsir really didnt help the situation.

Volumetric is an issue throughout the whole Russian Tech tree. the volumetric bias paired with the stupid amount of armour is just bias in my opinion. have you seen the real footage of Russian tanks fighting and getting sliced through like butter? they are OP in game but mostly rubbish IRL.
I cant tell you how many times I’ve raged over that biased nation. ALSO on a side note, isn’t Russia getting the most amount of vehicle added? all the other nations get are low tier disappointments of GOONER tanks.
